This changed my view on Obama quite a bit. he is using women to pretend to faint at his speeches to show how calm and helpful he is, offering them water, etc. it has happened in at least 9 cities...coincidence? i think not.

personally it doesn't change my opinion of him at all. hes the best guy out there for the job. hes just trying to get that edge on hilary
 
he has an empty message. he just rallys people behind him without a strong defined stance on what hes gonna do with the country. sorry, but "change" is a little bit too vague of a word for me.

america wants a president that will care about the people and having women faint sends a good message that the possible president of the most powerful country in the world cares about one citizen enough to stop their whole entire speech to make sure that the person is getting helped.

im sure the psychology behind their campaigns would be pretty interesting to see.
 
i could not care less. I think he addresses the issues better than Hilary and at least he's not fake crying. I hope that he wins the democratic nomination, because I'm pretty sure a democrat will be president, regardless of which democrat.

actually i do think its a coincidence... people feint at large gatherings like this all the time... it just gets hot and they are standing for a long time and such and yeah... its happens...

except obama says practically the same thing each time and knows to grab his own water bottle to throw it out there. "give her space, give her water" he must be a doctor too? his voice never changed, it does start to get suspicious near the end of the video how all of these occur right in front of the stage too.
 
some people say that if he gets elected that hes gonna get assasinated, but my buddies in alabama dont have the technology or steady hands to pull of a procedure like that.
 
so how come no one has fainted at any of the other candidate's rallies?

I could see it happening once or twice, maybe 3 times... but this shit is way over the edge. This election, no matter who wins, is going to lead to the next 4 years of disaster. But things really have to go to the shitter before people wake the fuck up.
 
when its a hundred degrees out and people are packed like sardines screaming their asses off, that is often what happens. To say that he stages faintings is pretty cynical. I'm not saying that he didn't, I'm just saying that this video proves jack shit.
 
it has happened at hillary's rallies too, it's a pretty weak argument to say it's happening at all of them therefore it has to be fake if you had evidence like it was the same woman at all of them then you'd have an argument.

and defending his lack of panic, or having the same emotion at each thing-- well it's the response you give when someone faints, if he starts freaking out that will just spread to the audience

lays out in great detail his plan for change... That's as much if not more as

HIllary has available and really should end this whole 'empty rhetoric'

just because all you hear on the news is crap about change, doesn't mean that his message is empty. in fact, i'd say it's just the opposite.

this video is weird though, but i also don't buy it for a second. i don't think there's anything to gain from it, so why would he go that far? who would vote for him because they heard people faint during his speeches? i just don't think it would help at all.
 
I'm pretty sure they should just start all over and get new candidates for both parties. The democratic party is super weak, and john mccain isn't necessaily awesome either.

it makes him look very calm and authoritive, and knows what to do (give them room, some air, here, take my water) in a situation like this. it also makes the people feel that he is closer to them, or "one of us".

and how could he see one person faint every time as soon as it happened when theres a sea of hundreds of people?

And for your information, I'm Canadian and I know you are too. If Obama wins, he is going to impose nationalistic policies that are going to hurt our trade. Since they're our biggest trading partner our economy will be hit pretty hard, but you knew that of course. You also probably knew that once the economy goes down less and less people will be going to bars and nightclubs in Vancouver which could leave you out of work big guy. I guess you'll have to find a new job, but with all your qualifications that shouldn't be too hard. They always need 'articulate' people with english degrees to work the cash register at chapters.

If anyone has ever been to any sort of outdoor event, be it a concert or a speech or even a state fair, a couple of people will almost always fall over or faint because its hot out, they're dehydrated and they're surrounded by a ton of people. For anyone who thinks they shouldn't vote for Obama all you have to do is look at the alternatives, Hilldog who would extend the Bush/Clinton regime until 2016 (thats 27 years with the same two families in office and hell by then I bet Jeb will be ready to take a stab at it), who wants to be president purely because it has been a personal goal for her for a long time and not because she wants to help the people of this country. Also many of Hilldogs policies would be ruinous for America including her health care plan which will bureaucratize our health care system. Sure politics in America has turned purely into marketing and mud slinging, instead of actually talking about important issues... but that's all us Americans understand. I mean, clearly we take things that are told to us as true, Look at how the entire Bush Admin has been run... They tell us something and we think it's true, even when it's clearly not. Good for ol' Hilldog for figuring this out and using it to her advantage, I just wish mr. Obama would stoop to that low of a level instead of talking about what changes need to actually happen and this whole ending curruption and special intrest influence in Washington. How the fuck are all the rich folk suposed to make money as politicians? hahaha ok buddy. NAFTA supports free trade, by reforming free trade then the trade is no longer free is it? Free trade is trade without tariffs or with minimal tariffs. The only way to reform free trade is to impose tariffs and or trade restrictions. There is no way to make 'free' trade any more free. Now if Obama reforms this he will reform it for the United States' favour will he not? Thereby restricting trade and hurting the Canadian and Mexican economies, but of course you don't give a shit about that do you? Your dollar will go up and you'll be able to buy cheap weed in either country.

Didn't you say that if Hillary won she would be in power till 2016? Well you're wrong dum dum, there needs to be an election every four years remember. You guys voted bush in for two terms. as a whole the american people cant be to bright. we elected george bush twice!!!!!! the first time he didnt really win, but he still got ALOT of votes.
 
First off I'm 19, and I'm majoring in International Politics and Economics right now, just so you don't think I'm 15, and I have already voted for Obama in Washington's caucus. Regardless reforming NAFTA would be beneficial to Canada and Mexico as well as the US, Obama has publicly said that he is going to work with both nations leaders to fix the problems in NAFTA and support all of our economies. The US has no reason to devalue the Canadian Dollar, and not matter what anyone does the American Dollar isn't going to get back to its old strength anytime soon.

Also your idea that restricting trade would hurt Canada and Mexico's economies is unfounded, many Mexicans support restricting agricultural trade with the US that was opened up by NAFTA because it has hurt, not helped, Mexican farmers. The same in Canada a stronger Canadian Dollar will cause labor to be cheaper south of the border in the US where I bet many Canadian manufacturing jobs could head if NAFTA isn't reformed.
 
Honestly Obama will be another disaster just like Carter, maybe worse. I do not like McCain at all either so don't go there. I personally think Mitt Romney was the best of the candidates. If it weren't for his mormon thing he would have had a much better chance taking that old sucka out.

 
Well Hillary fakes tears, Mccain wants to make iraq the next state and Obama really won't explain himself on a whole lot of issues. I think that is why is quite popular right now. He knows the game of politics pretty well, I know some obama lovers are gonna hate on me for saying this but I don't really think he is a muslim but I do think that he isn't truely Christian. I'm not totally sure if I am truly christian but he wanted to be president since he was a child and to me it seems like he may have conveniently switched. I have a problem trusting someone who would do that. If I am correct though he is definitely not the first. Bobby Jindal the governor of Louisiana converted from Hinduism to Catholicism right before his first campaign for governor. seems rather convenient considering Louisiana is a mostly catholic state. I am sure we have plenty of politicians who claim a religious affiliation and could really care less though. To tell the truth I would rather have an Atheist or Muslim president than a faux Christian, at least you could trust them on something. I do recognize though that it is nearly impossible for a non-Christian to occupy a high office in the United States because of the inner religious bigotry that many Americans hold against people of different religions.

I hope I am wrong in my previous paragraph, I don't really like obama but to be open minded he could make for an ok president. I kind of like John Mccain but soley because he is against pork barrel spending, but until the executive branch gets the line item veto we are going to have to deal with pork barrel bullshit.
 
I don't even know where to begin with this. He was not a Muslim, and never has been. He advised military strikes against Pakistan if intelligence on the location of top Al Qaeda members was discovered and the pakistani military continues not to take action, which is actually the exact action that the Bush administration took about two weeks ago sending a drone into Pakistan. Every piece of your post was misinformation and bullshit. I need to wake the fuck up?

Also, this is not real, as someone said Karl Rove doesn't believe it's real, and if there was any shred of credibility to this, he certainly would not be denying it. This doesn't happen as much at other speeches because Obama rallies tend to be more energetic and much larger than other candidates, particularly the small republican rallies where attendants are handpicked. People just don't seem to faint as much when they are all seated in an auditorium then when they're standing in a big group.

And to the person who asked whether Obama thought he was a doctor, what the fuck else do you do other than give someone space and water? Do you have a better solution? How can you use a computer if you don't know that you give someone who faints space and water?
