Dude, shut the fuck up. I am not the biggest Obama fan but those girls deserve to be kept safe, and any sort of dislike for him should not result in any form of violence. It's not his fault that there are psychos out there.
 
The point is a gun free zone isn't good enough for his children why is it good enough for us. Yes his children have a higher risk but we all have a risk of having somthing like this happening to us. It's is hypocritical to believe guns should used to protect the elite but not us. The whole gun control argument boils down to this "those who give up liberty to gain security deserve neither" Jefferson
 
Why do republicans ban guns and look alikes at the RNC? Why aren't republicans pushing to allow guns on the floor of congress? Two can play this game.
 
I gave Obama a 50-50 chance at getting murked his first term in office. I think the chances have gone up second term since he got reelected. He needs all the protection he can get himself. And is justified extending it to his family.

For all we know Craig Robinson the Oregon St coach has a body guard because he's Michelle's brother.

If Obama doesn't get assasinated after 8 years in office he deserves a lot of credit for it. Not getting yourself killed is a big part of being president. 2 of our best presidents ever fucked up in that regard.
 
because it presents an additional obstacle. and i'm not saying arm every teacher, but maybe principals or placing better trained security guards in the schools. bottom line is that you'll never get rid of guns, so we need to look at our other options to try and prevent things like this from happening.
 
So say you have an armed principal. What exactly is he going to do? Take down the shooter? Schools are big, one person can be fairly easily avoided. And even if the principal did manage to confront the shooter, he would not only have to have experience with a gun, but also in confronting an armed assailant, otherwise he's just another jackass with a gun who is more liable to hurt a kid with stray fire than do any good. So for this to happen, now we have to give our principals police/military training as well as teaching them how to run a school?

Just a bad, bad fucking idea all around.
 
not only would he need the experience etc. but he or she would need to be willing to kill a person. I know that would be something very hard to do for a lot of people regardless of the situation.
 
Not unheard of, just more rare. Take the ecole polytechnique massacre for example.

My friend's high school got evacuated almost weekly for bomb threats, kids figured out it was an easy way to avoid exams and would send them in anonymously. Most other schools got evacuated or put on lockdown at least once throughout high school too.
 
The admin obviously knew what was going on too. But they couldnt just ignore bomb threats because they were pretty sure they were fake.
