i think he meant internationally speaking. which still leaves the cole. however that wasnt on us soil so again maybe he meant on us soil. not to mention al quaeda didnt really fully claim responsibility till june of the next year when bush was president. he blew off the chance to take him down.

the electoral college should remove any thought in your mind that you live in a true democracy. the founding fathers didn't trust the masses back then either.
 
im not even pretending to say bush made us "safer" although there was no terrorist attack, on the scale of 9-11 on the US inside the US after 9-11...

maybe i misread what the other dude was saying, but it seemed to me that he was saying the only terror attacks in the US happened while bush was president. we both know this to be false..

and of course there were london, and madrid, but those were not on american soil. and did not directly involve americans (USS cole)
 
name ANYONE who could turn around the country in 4 years. the point is he is actually doing something and getting the ball rolling. who knows, the next president might be a republican who picks up where obama left off and continues to better the country. i cant believe so many of you have such negative attitudes before he has even done anything when the common goal is just to better our country in almost every aspect.

nah man, what i meant is that NO ONE could turn the country around in 4 years, but someone had to start turning things around and i hope whoever is president after obama continues in the right direction
 
With all respect, we need your help. People seem to be so quick to say "Well, I voted, Obama's got it, I did my part," brush it off their hands and walk away. Its not over. This nation can not depend all on one man, nor can it depend on one political party. Everyone needs to keep the ball rolling by staying involved and active. If you want to see America get on the right track, make your voice heard and participate.
