American relations with Israel would be exactly the same whether or not Obama visited during his term.

"debt and unemployment raising" without any frame of reference. Vote for who you want, but educate yourself, please.

Also unemployment isn't "raising" it is relatively hovering around 8-10%

I was interested in listening to Mitt Romney but then I found out Robert Kagan was on board as a foreign policy advisor for Romney and decided I was sick of seeing him puppet politicians for profit at the expense of ordinary people. (what an alliteration ehh)

The notoriously merciless UK media flambéed Romney with big headlines and scathing editorials.

Romney then moved on to Israel, where he explained to a room full of wealthy donors why Palestinians were generally poorer than Israelis due to their inferior “culture.” Israeli and Arabpress alike were incensed, calling the remark racist (a charge the Romney campaign vigorously denies.)

And then today in Poland, as reporters who had traveled a cumulative 10,000 miles with the campaign faced their sixth day without having an opportunity to ask a single question to the candidate, a Romney campaign spokesman told a restless gaggle to “kiss my ass” when they tried to shout their questions at Romney as he left Pilsudski Square in Warsaw.

Lol, at least Obama wasn't blatantly racist in front of a room full of diplomats.

 
Sorry for dub post BUT. My neighbor is basically the richest guy in Idaho and he donated a couple million or whatever to the Romney campaign. So, Romney drove past my house one day with this whole parade of cars and it was so funny seeing our potential president driving to this big mansion in the middle of fuck nowhere Idaho. So then later this school year, Romney stops by our school and we have a big assembly. It was only announced to the teachers and students like 2 days before he came for "secrecy". Really odd IMO. Now this is a tiny ass (relatively) high school with sophomore through senior classes (no freshman, they're at the junior high). Anyways so he stops at this school where a bit over a thousand kids that attend and it was just so out of place! There were secret service men guarding the doorways of my little school. Sorry to drag on but since Idaho is awfully Mormon (it ain't just Utah, contrary to popular belief) all of the momos pretty much acted like it was the second coming and facebook was clogged for about a week. Maybe this story doesn't have as much resonance with you as it does with me but just understand where I live is just sage brush and cows and mormons. But long story short I saw the potential president. Kinda cool
 
If people think that the mormon religion (sacred underwear, ancient American Israelites, multiple heavens/gods, polygamy, abstinence of pretty much everything, the garden of Eden was in Missouri and all that other stuff) will not be a highly influential aspect of Romneys (who has be ordained as a mormon priest) presidency is mistaken.

Islam doesn't claim to be anything that it's not. It's a religion separate from other faiths. Mormans claim that they are Christians but believe/practice completely different tenatns.

I have multiple Muslim friends and they are totally peaceful and respectable people. This whole idea of painting Islam as an ABNORMALLY destructive/violent/hateful religion is absurd. If you don't believe me take a look at some history (i.e. the catholic Spanish Inquisition (torture, murder, andf persecution in the name of Christianity) or the the crusades (again murder persecution, and extreme violencein the name of Christianity), or any recent history of African nationalism).

Just because some Muslim extremists did some horrific things does NOT denounce the whole religion and if you believe that all Muslims are radical extremists that want to destroy America then you are completely ignorant.

Im not saying a muslim couldn't or shouldn't be president, in fact I don't think religion should play a part of American politics what so ever (it is and thats beside the point). But when your saying you rather vote for a muslim because you know a couple "peaceful and respectable people" all while were at "war" in muslim countries, thats just stupid. Then you wont vote for mitt because he is Mormon and Mormons are descendants of "torture, murder, and persecution in the name of Christianity". Sorry sir but open your eyes, you are being far more ignorant than me.

Also I hope Im not coming off as the guy who thinks all muslims are american hating, radical, towel head, terrorists because I'm not. I know it is an outrageously low percentage of them who are, but still how many Mormons have you heard of hijacking planes or doing these insane bombings?

yeah greedy rich republicans! only giving millions in taxes! how much did you contribute in terms of taxes? like a thousand bucks? how bout you pick up the slack and help pay for that shit that american people need? Romney probably pays more in taxes in one month than you will in your lifetime. sounds like you should be worrying about yourself and what you contribute rather than how many millions some greedy millionaire will be paying in taxes this year.

Romney found a well known loophole in our fucked tax system and he took advantage of it like any smart businessman would. ya know what? it probably helped him make more money and expand his businesses even more, thus picking up even more of our slack in taxes. maybe if the rich didnt have to give up half of what they earn there wouldnt be such a crazy need for them to find loopholes and hide money offshores.
 
I agree that religion shouldn't be part of our politics but religion is an integral part of peoples lives and affects how they look at the world and make decisions so it has to be taken into account.

I'm not trying to hate on Romney for being Mormon. the problem for me is that he is an ordained priest/minister in his religion. He's the first major party nominee in US history I believe to be ordained by his church. Separation of church and state?

all I was trying to argue is that Christianity is no more peaceful than Islam. The Spanish inquisition, crusades (holy wars - sound a bit like jihad?), total destruction and even genocide of entire native populations are horrible, horrible acts, all committed in the name of Christianity. Right now in Africa Christian extremists waging wars on "non-believers" All religions have their extremists. Religion just gives people justification for their actions whether it is used for good or bad.

First year voting, starting to do some research on both platforms, but I'm leaning towards obama.

Would have thought NS would be much more liberal, considering you all smoke weed and praise jah and what not.
