Obama or mccain?

oh great, i see a huge thread coming on here.

oh, McCain, even though i disagree with some of his ideas. however i agree more with McCain than with Obama.
 
Obama, last thing the US needs in office right now is a republican, a democrat will fix things up nicely.
 
My preference is for Obama.

Hopefully this thread won't degenerate into an argument.

i think an obama clinton collabo is exactly what we need. Maybe I'm ignorant as far as Mccains policies, or maybe I'm a judgment of character, but is it me or does he seem like a worthless washed up waste of candidate. Like seriously, who is this guy?
 
obama. what our country needs is a democrat. i've probably been brainwashed partly because of the extreme liberal area i live in though.
 
change will come regardless of who's in office, they all have their own ideas and it'll be interesting to see both play out as i dont see why anyone would have 100% confidence in obama OR McCain, but mcCain's in pretty guilty company as far as a lot of things in the govt. i hope obama does as well of a job as people want him to do, because it'd be a more uneasy feeling off the bat for McCain to get elected. but we can't expect him to be able to fix all our problems. if he gets elected, i wonder if his situation with tony rezko will come up and get blown outta proportion. i dont know if many of you NS'ers know about it already but it's worth looking at. this guy tony rezko is a real estate developer in chi and barack has knowingly been doing business with him while rezko is a known mafia person. dont question my sources i just found SOME, but i know for a fact it to be true from residents of chi and lawyers etc. no ones hands are clean in politics and we can't expect obama to be the perfect presdent we're all waiting for him to become, he merely wants to be just the president. this is still america and we're a very fucked up government FUCK i hate this place lol

McCain is a war-mongering neocon that thrives on special interests. Obama is a naive liberal that thinks more government/taxes are the answer for everything (and thrives on special interests).

Personally, I don't think either of our candidates is a good choice to run our country right now. I think I am on McCain's side because I agree with more of his ideas than Obama's, but both are not my fav. Man, I wish our country wasn't just run by two parties :(. Green Party Power!

McCain. Thats mostly based on my feelings about affirmative action because thats the only policy I can really see affecting me in a major way.

I'm honestly just happy that hilary doesn't have a chance anymore.
 
Hopefully IF mccaine is elected (doubtful i'd say) he will turn out to be less... bush-y. In the 04 primaries he went against his party on a few subjects and that made him less popular, but maybe that crossing party lines could come back if he makes it to the white house. but mcain circa 2004 was cool

i just dont have faith in Obama. 2 years in the senate and a campain based on one word "change" just doesnt convince me. also the universal healthcare is reason enough to not vote for him. just my opinion though..
 
i dont understand why you need to mention his middle name is it supposed to discredit him or something.

reverend wright is a pastor, he is not running for office obama is they are two very separate people.

and he has a terrorist as one of his buds? they were by no means buds. need i mention that bush is buddy buddy with saudi arabians an incredibly backwards muslim country, and members of the bin laden family.
