McCain's wraped up the Rep. nomination and the libertarians have already picked Barr so Ron Paul has no shot. Plus most Ron Paul supporter are fucking so stupid and paronoid just like Nader supporters

McCain is going to win, it's inevitable. We live in a corrupt country run by greed. McCain wants to continue the "war on terrorism" There hasn't been a terrorist attack since 9/11. This war is absolute propaganda to continue out country's selfish need for oil...any candidate willing to continue this is guaranteed to win the election. Fuck This Country.

Read what you wrote. Rich people should give their money back to the country. Giving implies a choice, and rich people dont have that with money that the government takes. Yeah, I understand the rich will always be taxed more and I think they should to a certain extent(not 70% or whatever the hell it is in Sweden). drew i agree with what your saying but seriously, the muslim religion on a whole is out of touch with reality. The majority of muslims are so wrapped up in a their religion that they cannot paint a clear picture of the world. Those countries have so many backward customs and traditions that prevent many people from achieving any type of success in the modern world. The religion itself is very archaic and has not modernized or branched out to adapt to the modern world like most other religions. Seriously how many christians still wear chastity belts today besides that dude from the Da Vinci Code. That said there are millions of muslims who have adapted and are very regular people so Americans should try not to generalize. But so many are such hard liners and thats why this war is becoming so hard to win. AND to that guy above me, do u seriously believe Iraq is better for the majority of people now than it was when Saddam was in power. Sure he was gassin some Kurds, but seriously they are living in a warzone where they live in the shadow of death and destruction at all times. I do agree with you tho drew that we do not belong in Iraq and that most of you ignorant fuckers have no idea what your talking about, its just the red, white and blue flowing through your hotheaded skulls. actually I talked to my friend who is currently stationed in afghanistan, and he said they don't know why they are there. all they do is sun tan and watch bootleg dvds of current releases like ironman or the new season of weeds. The war is worthless and is putting us into even a worse situation then when it began. However, I do agree that if we pull out completely it will fuck iraq and afghanistan into an even worse situation then where they were before we came.

First of all Israel is not a religion, it is a country. I dont how you say Israel is just as fucked though. Have you ever been there? they have really advanced security systems, updated weapons, overall there really technology advanced and fit into the modern world fairly well. If they were the same as the other arabic countries around there, they wouldnt of lasted as long as the have. They have to be in touch with reality if they want to survive around those other countries that hate them.

Ha... The fact that your so senseless is amusing me. Israel is settled by primarily three religions, Jews, Catholics, and Muslims. There are a ton of different people that live there that arent Jewish. A hotel I stayed at had a Synagogue, Mosque, and Church all next to it within one block. Second of all, Israel has a reason to be so strict on the people of Palestinian considering suicide bombers and attacks on city's from extremist groups in Palestinian happen in Israel frequently. Israel is not what you think it is. They do not hate just muslims, but pretty much anyone who threatens them. Yes, that even includes the US to. A while ago a US airliner was almost shot down by Israeli Fighters due to the fact that it lacked communication with the tower. I wanna know why you think Israel is what you think it is though?

Personally I find the European Muslims to be a much more significant threat than Iraq ever was. The British government are stupid fucks for letting all those Muslims seeking "asylum" in. I'm sorry but I don't want to walk through London and be offered a fucking Koran by a woman in a face scarf on my way into the underground. And just look what happened in France, that speaks for itself. Then last summer when I was in Scotland another terrorist attack, fucking doctors lighting themselves on fire in a car at a Glasgow airport terminal. They've been given every opportunity to succeed yet they revert back to Islamic fascism. Islam has been turned into a dangerous method of brainwash in Mosques throughout the UK.

As far as the Iraq war, I agree entirely but for different reasons. The only type of person that can keep control of a country like Iraq is someone like Saddam. Seeing how the people behave towards each other now and the level of hatred among them I'd be careful about calling them "innocent". Innocent people do not kill each other.
 
No one said Israel is innocent, its a country trying to survive surrounded by nations that would like to see it swiped from the face of the Earth. And calling the Palestinians innocent is quite the oxymoron nowadays. If they organized in a peaceful manner and accepted the reality of their situation they would have their own nation by now.
 
The people we're helping with medical care are people that have either been maimed by the U.S. or from attacks amongst each other. Money wasted that could have been used to help United States citizens such as building more roads to cut down emissions, developing alternative energy, medical research, developing cleaner methods to produce nuclear energy, prevent us from continuing to sell bonds to the fucking Chinese, I could go on a long time. The Iraq war has been a colossal mistake and waste of money.

They never deserved any of the help we gave them, they are too backward to recognize it. People in the United States have this strange belief that people throughout the world are rational like us.

All i have to say, and mind i only SKIMMED some of the responses, is that the "terrorist" groups in the middle east have been fighting since like the beginning of civilization and that is not the reason that the US is in there. Which makes me ask. Why are we in there?
 
I know now like 20 bucks to me is lilke 500 because my mom is a single mom and it just seems so hard. Thats why im working this summer to pay her back for my skis and stuff cause she does so much.
 
oil is money! right now we control the oil fields, and in turn the profits go (mostly) to non-terrorist organizations. If we just left the middle east and the oil profits got in the hands on terrorists, that would be more funding for them to get better training and weapons. Right now we are containing them, and also helping many people.

breaking our dependancy on oil is one of the best ways to combat terrorists by cutting thier funding!
 
And let me add that no im not some huge war supporter who thinks we should be there for the next hundred years. (lol). i want the war to end as much as anyone, but i also think the war is somewhat neccesary (in afganistan). Much like Obama....

We're fighting a war against cowards that hide behind women and children. Its a backwards part of the world and will always be engulfed in violence. I don't think Sunnis and Shiites that blow each other up are innocent. And now I have to personally know everyone I pass judgment on?
 
Its not just about who physically commits the terrorist attacks. The people that carry out organized attacks are a small minority. It about the amount of support this minority receives from the Muslim population.

Instead those spineless Spaniards decided to vote for that socialist asshole Zapatero, since he was anti-war. Before the attacks it seemed clear that Aznar would win a reelection. Maybe you think it was just a coincidence.

Spain's involvement in Iraq was very minor. Why the fuck would the Moors care about the Iraqis anyway? Answer: they don't. It was just another attempt at challenging the power and the will of the Europeans.

i know my friends position on things before they went to iraq. They were actually muvh like you sir, drew. But after things change, and now ive seen that. So knowing sources personally and listening to what they say in everyday life about it reflect alot.
