i agree with higher ed needing to be cheaper. alot cheaper. but 4000 tax credit is not going to do shit, thats what, half a semester, at an average in state school, not including room, board, or text books.

also, there needs to be a great de-emphasis of the liberal arts, its not 1900, communications degrees are worthless, they shouldn't even be offered.
 
whoaaaaaaaaa. theres a disagreement. liberal arts degrees are good. they give people a lot more well rounded of an education, and teach them to think a lot better.
 
I'd put a lot of money on the fact that you're probably alive today only because of using a drug developed by some "evil" pharmaceutical company.

I know I've been saved by gnarly (and at one point experimental) drugs, I'd already be dead after catching pneumonia twice, and having severe asthma when I was younger.

People choose to take the other bullshit drugs that were mentioned like Viagra and such.

Gallup is 3% and Zogby is at 4%

CBS should be ashamed of their efforts here in polling. No respectable polling reports show this kind of margain.

I don't even see it as a real issue. I think the only issue is Obama's sidestepping and constantly giving contrasting stories on their relationship.
 
i havent seen contrasting stories. ive seen him say the same thing. "we served on a board but we werent best friends or something" then i see palin making claims like "he launched his campaign in the living room of a terrorist"

as ive said before, i would be so much less worried about mccain winning, if that woman wasnt his 2nd in charge
