Obama bypassing congress to make sricter gun laws....

Ive never shot a gun with the bump fire stock. My AK has an opposing foregrip that makes bump firing super easy so dont need the cheater stock.

They are cheap. $300 for a full auto conversion is cheap.

haha that america has been gone for a while now. these days you don't have the freedom to even drink raw milk from a cow without being arrested. this is considered lunacy everywhere in the world besides the west.

divide and conquer. +k to you for recognizing the truth though.

Theres a difference between a C-mag and a 12G shotgun drum. The pistol in the picture with the C-mag is an FN 5.7 That chambers a 5.62 round, the same round that is fired from modern AR rifles, which are the ones that use C-Mags. With some tinkering, I can see how it would fit.

Regardless, it is not as hard as people think to make your own gun from old parts of different guns, and its even easier to make it a "fully auto killing machine." Banning guns wont do shit for the people who really want to have them.

That stock essentially turns a semi auto AR into a fully auto AR by using a spring type system to cause the trigger to be pulled every recoil.

Those who think America today is anything like the Nazi regime are lunatics and morons.

- Ben.

Technically no but for all intents and purposes its a full auto conversion. $300 in the gun world is cheap, especially for what the slide fire allows your gun to do

I have never said we need to ban firearms, read my post further back. Responsible gun owners aren't the problem. The problem is simply the ease of access, through gunshows, straw purchases, and a more rigorous background check. People with mentally ill teens in the house should not be allowed to possess a plethora of firearms. I dont feel that that is an unreasonable or Nazi-like proposition.

background checks aren't unconstitutional and I don't have a problem with that. I do have a problem with Presidential executive orders infringing upon our 2nd Amendment rights.

Good thing there havent even been any executive orders yet. Just talk, and not even from Obama, but from yappy mc yapper himself, Biden.

Lets be honest, we havent had major gun law changes in decades, we arent going to see it now.

I like my guns and my government is not taking them away from me. This is MERICA and I don't want non if this Comi bullshit. Obama is a bunch of communist bull shit. #libertarian4lyfe

But in all seriousness this whole thing has been great for gun sales. I stocked up have you? Food for thought do it before it's to late.

Its cool that you fired one. I would love to. Bump firing is a bitch. I would really like to get a slide fire for my 22. Ak rounds are too expensive to fire at that rate

I went to order more AK mags today and they doubled in price since my last order and most retailers are out of stock of those. I wish i has bought some drums before the price skyrocketed

Ha, yeah, you can't hit the broad side of a barn bump firing. I haven't seen a slide fire though for a .22, would there even be enough recoil for it to work?

I hope nothing is done.

There have been Assault Weapons bans in the past and violent crime wasn't reduced. I don't see how another one would change things. Banning specific weapons doesn't reduce violent crime so the real argument should be ban all weapons or don't ban them at all. I wish I could have that conversation with people.

No, it's simpler if one holds it that way though it looks awkward. How it works is the stock and pistol grip are one with a spring inside. There is a plate that you place you trigger finger around that sits in front of the trigger and you hold you finger there the whole time. By pulling foward on the rifle and holding the buttstock firm you pull the trigger towards your trigger finger. Once you pull far enough the trigger is depressed firing a round a nd recoiling the rifle. By hold constant forward pressure on the rifle the trigger is then pulled again towards your trigger finger depressing it again and firing another round. He's holding it in a way that allows for forward pull on the rifle.

Great link.

Gun grab? Limited options for Obama

By: Kevin Robillard

Rush Limbaugh says that President Barack Obama is coming for your guns, but the White House’s authority to regulate firearms is about as strong as a pea shooter.

“Make no mistake: They are planning a gun grab,” Limbaugh declared Wednesday on his radio show.

Limbaugh’s warning, which came in the wake of Vice President Joe Biden hinting at “executive action” Obama could take on gun control, was just one part of a flurry of fear-mongering from the right about unilateral actions Obama might take as part of an effort to stop gun violence.

But the three gun-control options talked about the most in the wake of the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School — closing the gun show loophole, banning assault weapons, and outlawing extended magazines — would all require Congressional approval. This leaves Obama with modest options, mostly involving policy changes at the ATF and the Justice Department.

“The president is going to act,” Biden told reporters on Wednesday, without getting into specifics. “Executive orders, executive action, can be taken. We haven’t decided what this is yet, but we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and all the rest of the Cabinet members.”

Obama could direct the Justice Department to start prosecuting people who lie on their background checks when trying to purchase a weapon. In 2009, the FBI reported 71,000 cases. The DOJ only prosecuted 77 of them.

In August 2011, Justice began requiring gun dealers in four states bordering Mexico to report when a single buyer bought multiple semi-automatic weapons, POLITICO reported in December. That power could be expanded to other states or otherwise broadened by executive action. They also tweaked the F.B.I.-run federal background check system, automating the upload of federal charge and conviction information and informing states of actions taken in another state that could impact a person’s eligibility to buy guns.

Mark Glaze, the director of the Michael Bloomberg-backed Mayors Against Illegal Guns, said Obama could help the ATF better do its job by nominating a director for the agency — which has been without a permanent leader for 6 years — and by proposing an increase in the agency’s budget. However, a permanent director and new funds would both require congressional approval.

Mayors Against Illegal Guns also suggested the creation of an internet trafficking unit at ATF to track gun sales over the internet and requiring all other federal agencies to report mental health and substance abuse records to the national background check database, according to USA Today.

The New York Times reported in December that the Justice Department drew up such a measure in the wake of the mass shooting in Tucson, Ariz., that wounded then-Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. Under DOJ’s proposal, agencies like the Social Security Administration would have to alert the F.B.I. if they were sending checks to a trustee because a beneficiary had been ruled mentally incompetent. Other agencies would alert the bureau if an employee or job applicant failed a drug test.

The measure was scrapped because of the intense opposition expected, according to the Times.

After mass shootings in the late ’80s and ’90s, President George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton both used a 1968 law to limit the importation of some guns, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

My logic is simple, the AR's are what killed many people very quickly, not the pistols. I explained multiple times in this thread why assault weapons are more deadly. More ammo plus less recoil plus less time to relode plus more distance and accuracy. I'm not entirely blaming the gun, but the gun had something to do with it. You sir are being very close minded. I'm on model so I apologize for any grammar mistakes.

SO WHAT U WANNA DO?

LIMIT MASS MURDERS OR LIMIT MURDERS? PISTOLS KILL MORE PEOPLE.

WAIT, PEOPLE KILL MORE PEOPLE. Let's legislate against people. That'll work. No citizens are allowed to own guns. THAT'LL SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

Then we can ship you all off to camp FEMA and make you goddamn slaves to the NWO.

Lol what? Have been around guns my entire life? Been hunting since I was legally allowed, just shot clay birds like a week ago. Oh, and that's not my name, try again.

False and this is my problem there were little to no mass shootings with them. Idc about Violent crime who's going to use an ak to rob someone. But you shouldnt be able to get an assault weapon as easy as you can today.

wait. how many mass shootings a year do you think kill people?

Like how many do you think comprise the total murder rate from guns? Like percentage wise.

You are so fucking stupid that I literally face palmed reading that. Like I wish I had the audacity to ridicule you right now but I don't even know where to begin it is that bad.

Just leave the country and do all of us a favor, since you're "out".

You missed the complete point of my post. All I'm saying is someone who wants to kill a bunch of people shouldn't be able to find assault weapon in 10 days.

Nazi Germany had quite a bit of debt actually. Hitler viewed economics as being a secondary problem that he didn't concern himself with.

and here's a fun fact...Germany finished paying reparations in October of 2010.

idk where youre going with this, but shut your goddamn mouth if youre idolizing nazi germany and/or wish stuff like that would come again. so many idiots refer to "the good" things hitler did, when EVERYTHING was streamlined to starting and maintaining a war.

My logic is that if someone decides to shoot up a school, they shouldn't have a access to a weapon that was built based on weapons used for war. They also shouldn't be able to he access to those weapons the exact day they want to do the shooting. It's too easy for people to get these assault like weapons.

What really impresses me is that there are so few that have commented on this being a non issue. Gun lobbying, right wing media and NRA spokespeople have turned this into a windfall for gun manufacturers and retailers. Talk about using fear to drive business!

The real truth is taht there will be very little regulation, and the media is using panic as a way to boost business for the gun industry.

Well done firearm industry, well done.
