The one true perspective everyone should really adhere too are the improvished who have gone through hell, escaped to america, and are grateful enough, and whose scope of perspective is large enough to encompass the experiences usually felt by a number of people (not just onself), to appreciate the value of America.
This is not to say we should all be blindly devoted to America, no; one of the best quality of America is our willingness to be self-critical. At any given time roughly 50% of Americans complain about the state of the union, and most do so in the interest of betterment.
Meanwhile, you have retarded citizens of other countries, countries by all metrics are so far inferior to the USA that their own criticism (when the word "retarded" is used) comes off as pathetic and pretentious, who don't know jack shit about modern history, what the US has done countless times to save the world (most likely his own host country), and yet still try to critique.
Sure the US seems like a bad guy when you juxtapose recent actions to the historically dormant 90's. But when you consider what the threat of communism meant to not just the USA, but to countries like Poland, Germany, Slavics, NATO, what we did might not be considered so bad.

Do you think the internal combustion engine is more important than the assembly line, modern motor vehicle, airplaine, or any other developments that made it useful?
The internal combustion engine is only useful for other american inventions, yet those inventions can be run on alternative motors that the us invented such as the rotary steam engine.

no, i haven't been to asia, but after taking a couple courses on it, i would say my knowledge of asian culture is good enough to make a statement on it. yes, i'm aware that the old culture had a lot to do with submission, but in modern times it's used as a sign of respect. often times cultures and traditions change with time to have somewhat of a new meaning.

When Nixon, Eisenhower and Bush bowed to the PM of Japan, they gave slight head bows, the accepted equivalent of a handshake in japan.
Obama gave a distinctively submissive bow to the EMPEROR.

At the end of the day, the foreign challenger has still not provided a neutral and valid metric of a country's success, and has not even addressed the inherent ingenuity the American system (capitalism, glorification of wealth, 180day primary school years, abundance of universities) provides.
The foreign challenger has not addressed the fact that the definition of "happy" varies greatly within the US given its democratic government, geographic size, and inherent diverse interests that arise from the free media. The fact that 1 out of 50 states is larger than your country automatically invalidates any measure of per capita anything. That said, California, New York, Texas, Illinois, Indianapolis, individually all have greater economies than your country alone.
