do yall remember the days when you could send in your oakley shades and they'd replace them for free, or at most like $19? well now they want like $45!!! this is bull shit, we all know those kids in sweatshops can make them for like $0.36 a pair! i plan on sending them a strongly worded letter... or actually, maybe i'll just get my dad to pay it.

i dont buy oakley, first of all, everybody has oakley, so why just be one of the crowd. And then there to stupidly expensive

 
i hate to defend them but the reason they are expensive is becaue all of their stuff is made in the US and they put the most technology into their product.

dude oakley shit is bomb proof. chances are if u broke it its ur fault. they use the newest stuff around. i have the mag switches and they are sick. they are lighter than plastic and they are the stongest metal. all the shit is made in the usa and its not cheap to make. u think the metals in the glasses dont cost at least the 45 dollars they want. unless u have plastic ones. the lenses are top quality coated like 16 times. the lenses are made out of some speshul rock material. im sure that if you buy one of their glasses for 300 dollars it costs 100 to make it.

 
oakley shit is tough but i wouldn't quite say bomb proof..... maybe 'tough as shit' or 'bullet proof' would be more adequete
