First off, I fell and hit the back of my helmet on the ground. I Cracked the inside of my crowbars. wtf? The crowbars are less than a year old, will Oakley replace the lense? How would I go about doing this? I looked on the site and they said theres a 1 year warranty on manufacturer flaws but no coverage for scratches.... I have a crack.
Second off, if they will replace the lense, do you think they would let me switch the lense for another of equal price?
Third off, the goggle lense thats like a reflective blue that like half the people in the xgames had, is that blue irid?

i'm pretty sure they will not replace unfortunately. you should likely contact them by email. but usually companies won't refund or exchange or fix items that you broke yourself through wear and tear.

I doubt that they would warantee this. The same thing has happened to three of my friends with their crowbars. I don't think that the problem is a manufactoring default but you can always try. Sorry

its definitly worth a try...the worst that happens is you dont get them warranted and your back where you started

that exact thing happened to my crowbars last year, fell on the side of my face and hit the corner of the crowbars and somehow the middle of the inside lens cracked down the middle. i just went to the store and asked and they said they couldnt do anything...i really doubt theres anything to be done...

1. No - not a defect. Considered "abuse". Like it or not.

2. No - unless the CSR really likes you. Just be nice when you talk to them - it gets you mileage.

3. Sounds right - Blue Irid. Great lens color, but not the best for low/flat light.

Broke the glasses of my crowbars within 3 years 3 times. Got 2 new glasses and the last time a completely new crowbar, no questions asked, even though the warranty had already exceeded.just give it a try...

Bump because I cracked the inside lense today in the same place. And it was my second day with them. Will I be able to warranty it?

No idea, but it never hurts to ask. Worst case scenario: they say no. Personal motto /claim

I cracked the inside lens exactly the same way on my hi-yellow crowbars that were 2 years old, and my shop warrantied the lenses immediately and sent them back to oakley, and I now have a brand new replacement lens, bring the lens to a good oakley-dealing shop and they should be able to help you out, not sure what these other guys are talking about

I just sent customer care an email with pics. Hoping that works, if not I might take them to evo and have them try to warranty them
