Those would be awesome for running but otherwise I wouldn't really wear them. Not a bad idea though, and they hold about 3 hours of music.

SO you think it's more convenient to cart around a diskman or mp3player in your pocket or bag with cords hanging everywhere and shit, rather than just have music right there on the glasses (next to weightless, no cords), which you could wear to drive, to any outdoor activity, or anything? They don't look cool enough or something? Sometimes, I dont understand you people on NS. They make perfect sense to me. You guys don't provide any reasoning to back up what you're saying. no, its just for $500 most people don't need mp3 players in their sunglasses, especially when you want to talk to people or not wear sunglasses.

 
Yeah, I guess for some people but for one, don't use *You cant talk to people* as an excuse, because you can... and the lenses also flip up. But yeah for me I guess they're very convenient because I usually want to listen to music when biking, and running (of which I do alot of) and thats when I'd be wearing sunglasses. Also for driving too. I just find its pointless to purchase sunglasses and an mp3 player when you can have both right there, no complications. The earphones flip up easy too, which also pauses your music, so its a cool concept. Very efficient

I like them, but i do agree on the battery life issue. To keep down on weight though it's obvious why.

The oakley usb cable that comes with them is pretty awesome too.

^ I dont know how stupid u are but if i were you i would stop posting. It has always been illegal to wear headphones while drivingh everywhere!!! You have to be able to hear traffic and stuff like that! Plus these are useless!

^this man is right, in some places you can also get ticked for having both earbuds in while riding your bike, at least at my college you can.

as far as the thumps go they arent a bad idea just the memory is tiny and the battery life is terrible. for 400$ i could buy an ipod mini and the oakleys i already have and would be much happier. plus how often are you going to walk around in a public place like the mall or a grocery store with those glasses on and just the lenses flipped up. would look pretty stupid but thats just my opinion

yea. good idea. but not versatile enough to be worth buying. I'd deal with the minor inconvenience of wires and headphones because I may not always want to listen music while wearing shades and may not always want to have shades while listening to music, and I certainy wouldn't wear those things with the lenses flipped up because that looks ugly. And don't tell me I'm overconcerned with fashion because I'm not. but about half the reason you wear sunglasses is style. Sure they may be usefull because they block light and eye protection for biking and stuff, but the other half of the reason you'd pick up shades is for style. Don't deny it.

So, basicaly, I'd never buy em.

I tried them on at a sunglass hut the other day. I liked them a lot. They sounded great, were light, and fit my face really well. But I don't think I would buy them, they were a little blocky... and the lenses would probably break off real easy. The way the lenses were connected to the frame was a really tiny hinge. They don't look durable at all.

I as well think they are really gay...they will not sell very well...way to expensive and generally just not a good idea...i mean who wheres flip up sunglass when it is dark out or your inside or it is cloudy...most people just woul dnot get enough use out of them to justify the 500 bills...unless maybe you lived on the Beach in Cali

I still stand by the fact that they're convenient as hell for summer sportsy people. I guess they're ugly though. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy em, unless I could afford the conveniance factor (which I cant right now heh), since I am really into biking and jogging and all that fun summer outdoor stuff.

^ Yeah it would be interesting to see how they would manage to get that to work. I've seen mp3 players in helmets... or maybe it was just helmets acting as headphones aswell. I dont remember the specifics, but the A-Frame mp3 player idea one that's worth while. I'd go for that
