i have two pairs of the simon dumont splices. i also have an all white pair, the military green pair and a black pair.make offers.

Splices are different than the Crowbars.

They're very similar, but the Crowbar will still be around next year.
 
I don't think official figures have been released, but probably around the same price as Cbars.

And I kinda doubt it, just basically a modified version of it. Plus Crowbars will still be manufactured by Oakley, so I don't think they're going anywhere.

I tried a pair on recently and there is no real difference. The nose piece fits a little wider, which is nice for a larger nosed people like me, But everything else is the same.

The only thing that frustrates me is that Crowbar parts won't be fully compatible with Splice's. Is this true Pineau?
 
the splice will be around $10 more than a cbar depending on what lens. the only real difference is the nose piece is gone so u have more downward vision. and it doesnt crush the nose as much. i rode cbars forever never thought it crushed my nose then rode the splice for a 1/4 of the season and then rode a cbar at night and definitely could tell the differnce on the nose. and for those who wanna have tons of goggle sag the splice is for you.

That's so stupid.

I don't understand why they would make a goggle that is 90% identical but yet not make the parts work together.
 
they are only 10 dollars more depending on lens. read my post a couple responses up it tells the real deal behind the detail of the new goggle
 
Do splises mean that its not a complete goggle, but just a part of it?

Splice is the model of the goggle. Its oakleys 2010 model goggle. Has not came out yet. That being said, it is a full goggle.
