i heard somewhere that they're coming out with skis in 2004. whats this all about? I think the skis called the stealth

really? sounds sweet. i wouldn't doubt it though, why wouldn't they. they already make clothing and sponsor a ton of athletes it's probably a smart move

The ski will not be out untill 2004, Right now we are testing a mogul ski but there are plans for a twin tip.

by the way, i just checked to make sure that it was really a rumor, and in fact, the oakley people told me that there would be no reason for doing a mogul ski, because anyways, they stopped all the sponsorship program in that sport, and anyways...a ski...whatever!!

i heard that armada was acutally owned by salmon who is being run by oakley and that salomon just wanted to appear core, so they started armada and then rossi got involved, and they own dynastar so dynastar was in on it, and that the ar5 was actualyl similar in design to the elan airtwist, and fisher then designed the topsheets, so its like the hybrid ski, its got a little bit of every company in it.

so the real deal is that oakley is planning on stealing a bunch of skis and putting oakley on it. oakley skis.

oakley is not gonna make skiis, it makes no sense. whoever thinks they are is just retarted. Wouldnt they tackle a more popular sport first? and if they did make skiis it would be another companies ski with an oakley topsheet and thats it. they wouldn't build a warehouse just for ski production. we should also listen to pocket-rocket, he seems to know what hes talking about and it also seems hes in somewhere on the ski industry.

It's actually plausible. I read somewhere that Oakley was going to be the next investor in the Karhu/Line complex but it fell through. If that's true, Oakley's interest in extending the brand is more a 'when' than an 'if.'

That being said, I haven't seen any Oakley skis.
