Oakley Pink Iridium Lens

im pretty stoked on them personally

probably not as good as the high intensity blue/yellow though

just got em on my crowbars, the mirror isn't to intense and they aren't that dark but i'm stoked, they seem like they will be great for dirty conditions

I'm getting some Pink Iridium on my crowbars... I like 'em over anything for shitty light 'cause they're still mirrored.

perfection,

^ i have gold iridium on my crowbars, and they are reaaalllyyy mirrored, there is no way anyone can see your eyes if you are wearing them, and theyre probably as dark, if not a little darker than black iridium. i wore aframes with black iridium at night last yeat and i saw fine, but idk if its a diff lense for crowbars

^^^^

Black Iridium is supposed to be darker than Gold Iridium, but only a difference in light transmission of two (Black Iridium = 18; Gold Iridium = 20)

Are there any lenses that are good for absolutely everything? Mostly night but frequent sunny days.

Not perssimon, are there any other good ones for everything?

^u serious? on sunny days i want to use the same lens, and i don't think hi yellow is good for that.

And to the thread creator, sorry to kinda jack your thread, but i'd be "searchbar, noob"ed if i made my own.

Isn't pink irid good for everything?

Pink iridium is alrite for everything, probably the one lense for everything out there if you ask me.

H.I as an everywhere lense? Jog on mate, your eyes will leak if you use this when there is even a hint of sun around.

H.I. yellow is blinding on bluebird days. Blue Iridium, G30, G50 and Pink Iridium are the best all around lenses.

i dont know weather to get pink iridium or fire iridium for my purple crowbars...thoughts? and its purely for looks, i can see everything fine in all light conditions with any lense

yeah, i bet you can see great on bluebird days with HI yellow and even better at night with black irid

i didnt mind black iridium at night, im sure a clear lense would have been better but it worked and thats all i care about...i rode with a firelense for 70+days last year in teh rain,fog,at night, when it was sunny and when it was snowing and it was just fine. and iput it between 2 or 3 different lenses, i dont believe hi yellow was mentioned

get fire iridium cuz UR A FAGGOT (and all gapers are attracted to the rainbow that fire iridium produces)

please, buy the fire iridium, it will suit you well, for night espectially.

what the hell... first of all lets correct your spelling shall we.

cuz = cause

ur = you're

especitially = especially

good. Now we can move on.

What in the hell are you talking about? I'm a gaper because of the lense i choose? I hardly think that makes sense. I want a lense that will work everywhere and look good because i dont have the money to go out and buy 3 or 4 different lenses for different light condtions.

You sir, are a cunt.

owned. Pick the pink iridium,because it's kind of a similar colour to purpled. And as muxh as you say, you will probably see better anyway, even though you could still see before.

fire for day/sunny and hi-yellow for night/lowlight/fog/whatever.

What the hell was that one dude talking about with the fire being for gapers,

WTFuck. Bigwhite owned him anyway. haha

There so nice for flat light like from 3-5 b4 its dark enough for lights there super nice and they just make everythig glow at night im all about them, in the day light they will make ya go blind

lol that was an angry thread.... but yea, it seems like every weekend warrior joe-skier and their little brother has fire lens now

gonna bump up this thread again, because my question still applies to the pink irid somehow.

Is the pink irid lens better on bluebird days than persimmon? or how much of a difference is there?

yes there will be abit of a difference. pink iridi8um will be better on sunny days because of the coating and its a little darker. persimmon will work fine for sun though, theres not a whole lot of differance

Darker than Persimmon? You are mistaken. The coating will help cut out glare, but the Pink Iridium is not as dark as the Persimmon.

Look at thte H.I. Persimmon to do everything, that and the G30 will do well.

yeah, it's just that i have persimmon now, and it works fine for sunny days, so now i'm sold on the pink iridium.

Well, that's been my opinion at least, based on when I've seen them, but the conditions and the person could make it seem darker. But it's always been my experience that the Persimmon was darker than the Pink Iridium.

Not to be a bitch, but I skied with Hi Yellow Wisdoms for over 70 days and nights in all conditions, and I really dont have much to say. Its fine, man the fuck up.

haha i dont have either of those lenses i was just laughing cuz the guy said he could take on any condition with any lens

Clear might be a bitch, but honestly, I logged a lot of bluebird days with hi yellow last year. No doubt that my new fires will do better, but still, your eyes arent blinded by full on sunlight, you can deal.

i've had fire lenses and black iridium lenses for many seasons now and i've never had an issue with anything.. in rain, fog, flat light, blinding light, black light, rainbows, and dumping snow. sure i maybe could have seen a little better if i did have a different lens at the time, but sometimes you just gotta deal with it ya know.

Gonna pop on this thread again, to ask what a pink iridium lens would go for at a good, but findable deal. In canadian, or able to ship to canada.

Anyone bought a separate lens, and paid 70 or less?

I don't think the oakley US site ships to Canada, and they're $120 on the canadian site...

there are some green retro w pink iridium on ebay at the minute. I think ebay is your best bet for pink iridium crowbars expect to pay around $95 US, most sellers ship to canada anyway. I just ordered some bright red w pink iridium.
