I now this is a noob question and i will probably be bashed about asking but: Are the Oakley Osamas real skis? And if so is there any pictures?
 
hehehe, I thought they were realy during my infancy here on NS, alas, experience has made me wiser. No, they're not real.

would you mind enlightening me on whose promodels they are/were? interesting name for a pro model i thought, that's all...

might not be too well received by the american consumer methinks...

somebody should make a pair of those. before they come out. they would look sick! i donno about a sand core tho, i think they would be too soft. maybe a gravel like core? or we could just go back to the traditional wood core. and they are missing tip and tail rivets of ak47 bullets that stick out like 2 inches so if soembody steps on your skis they fuck them up, those pictures are not final, the rivets will be there, you just wait.
 
I heard they will come with a complimentary car bomb also...

fuck this shit again? Their not real, the picture is a pair of 04-05 armada ar5's. Alltho the sadam pro model is pretty sick
 
They are real and I have held them with my own hands, a little on the heavy side due to the gold inserts but they pop like nothing else. Just holding them they wanted to just jump. And the flex is godly. too bad oakley dropped the idea
 
yeah, and gold edges to slide rails better, the metal is soft so you don't catch an edge
 
wait sand core? what happened to the oil core that was originally planned? these skis are developing way too fast for me to keep up
 
Everyone whos anyone knows that the Osamas use a high grade imported sand core from afghanistan. The sand creates a smooth sand like flow for the skis making them perfect all-mountain or backcountry skis.

The Saddam Pros use an Oil core with two layers on each side of enriched uranium for explosive pop. Staying true to Saddam's design the oil core can also be lit to cause an enviromentally damaging oil fire so every rider can imitate Saddam's achievements in the Kuwait oil fields druing the Gulf War.

Props to Oakley for giving these two men the respect the respect they have earned.
