and whats the underfoot size on the gary coleman z5's?
 
my opinion i like the osamas better. they are a little stiffer have a bit more pop and better topsheet
 
Yeah, I'm thinking about getting a pair but their pretty spendy for a cheap sand nigger like me... What do you guys think about the flex on these babies?
 
yeah, dont the 08 models have reinforced edges under foot? i heard they did. but yeah, the sand core has amazing flex, i rode my pair for the first time at timberline the other day. awsome skis.
 
i saw a pair on ebay a while ago, but someone bought them for the "buy it now" price of $1167.09, i was super pissed!
 
with the new white topsheet on the 08's if you lose your ski in some pow that fucker is gonna be hidden, like that shit'll seem like its in a cave under the snow somewhere...probably the easiest way to find it would be to blow the whole fucking mountain up and then pull the beat-up sonuvabitch out from the bottom by its filthy tail...
 
don't you see it in the graphics? 100-96-100. Very simple design, really. I just talked to the Oakley rep in my town and they are indeed making it rockered, the dimensions are going to be about 110 underfoot, a pollard-sort of design, but a little stiffer.
 
The Saddams are Iraqered. It's like rocker but better, and they will not have as much pop but they will be better in deeper dunes. They have a topsheet with a noose on it as well, very sick.
 
oh weird I guess they took the park ski width down a couple mm...must have been experimenting. SAND core is revolutionary. I hope everyone uses it, I think salomon will be the 2nd to use it though because its so close to the foam cores they have already.
 
hahahaha, iraqered. yeah those deep dunes can be a bitch, stiffer is for sure better in deep dunes, and for TARIQ'S GAP, anyone know how to get to tariq's gap from the bottom of the taj majal??
 
well it's gotta be good for $1000+. Good for the pros to be helping out so much.

Hopefully they'll come out with a whole Jihad setup, from the Rajim-Abdul jacket to the Taliban pant, sand tone. Add in a helmet line with turban graphics (custom of course) and you can get your crews to match...instead of looking thuggin you can look like terrorists! Much more frightening.

 
i can't even remember, who was it who originally came up with the Osama Pro concept? Someone on this site wasn't it?
 
schlong has been here for the original osama's, waaaay back in the day. he is definitely in the know.
 
i heard they're going with like a 85 underfoot this year, it makes sense for more stability on all that quicksand and shit.

no no no you got it all wrong, they built the bombproof specs up to par with Osamas headquarters that noone can find, theyre pretty indesturctible. on the saddams however they have pretty weak reinforcement for bomb impacts.

If we were serious why would we have a thread this long? Go to your local ski shop and ask them to special order them for you, its the only way you can get them. I got my pair a week ago and their mad dope.

i recently stumbled upon these by playing with the oakley.com url. they are the new osama pro model goggle. they will be released mid 09'. i hear they are really good for night skiing.
