ok, i have a lab coat, i am looking at the 2x4 pant. I usually dont care what other people think, but will it be gay if i get the pants? cuz i will be decked out in all oakley stuff(googles too). And i dont want to be an accused 'poser' b/c some may think i am trying to look like a sponsored rider to be 'cool'. it sounds dumb, but o well.

I think oakley makes awsome stuff, in my opinions one of the best in the market. But if you like it, go for it. I dont think you need the opinions of all of us.

ya i got my oakley hotplate for half off and i got a deal and a half on the pants too. all my shit is like half off. boots, skis, bindings were like 75 off. its all about hook ups,having a family member or friend that works at a shop or for the mountain is key.

Mountain Hardwear is just as quality or better than Arcteryx, their clothing line is extremely well thought over and constructed, and their outerwear is extremely well constructed. they debuted the Conduit layering system, a near perfection, better than Gore-Tex. as well, they make sleeping bags (top of the line) and more expedition worthy tents than any other company out there. so think before you start calling out that a company is something it isnt. Mountain Hardwear is one of the most 'hardcore' companies in the world.

Ya just dont buy rip curl. They are warm but i bought a pair of pants right before christmas and they now are sporting about 20 percent duct tape. And thats after my mom stitched them up once.

i have arctyrx and north face and they are both hella better than the oakley stuff i used to have. i would go with mountain smith/mountain hardware but if you can find it use OR (outdoor reaserch) it is the best and costs 1/4 of oakley

 
Dude, don't get all pissed. Mountain hardware has good shit and they are hardcore, but they still steal ideas. its ok it seems like everyone is starting to rip of arc'teryx's ideas.

ive got all oakley stuff, googles, pants, two jackets, most of my shirts are oakley, and ive never gotten accused of being a poser. that company is just the best.
