Is the suit worth $882.75?

Sure it has 20k/20k but so does outerwear from SAC

Sure it has recco but so do most jackets

It's made of nylon and polyester so nothing special there

Yellow or grey colors aren't that expensive

It has 3 layers, whatever that implies.

So why exactly would someone pay nearly 900 for this suit?
They should make it a one piece, but instead of The Medic, they should call it The Redic

 
They have that at the local Oakley Vault near me and it's less than $300 for pants and the coat.

I'm sure it's nice, it's Oakleys jacket pants combo that are actually pretty nice. Not $800 nice but you can always find Oakley cheaper than retail if you look around.

You're dumb, thats a sick suit. Not worth the money though, unless you can find it cheaper.

However, if you really like it and its the one you want, then get it!

I think burton is coming out with something similar in colour at least.
 
Absolutely not. they overpriced the shit outta there stuff this year. go pick up some burton ak stuff or something else with the same tech for far cheaper.
 
for 800 bucks you could get a high end arc'texry (sp?), HH, burton AK, orage, etc suit that would kick the shit out of that.
 
I check it out at the Oakley store here in Montreal. It's reallllly light and looks like realy good build quality, but as you said it's super expenisve. If you do get it make sure to get the Blazing Yellow color.
 
i have the suit in yellow and i really like it.

ok i got it as a sample from oakley and didn't pay anything for that. but its super durable

and very light. and there are so many features you don't have in any other jackets.

all in all it's great but if i had to pay for it i would definitely not do so. it's overpriced. but if you can get i for like 400-500 bucks then definitely jump on it.
 
pretty sick suit if you got the jacket super big, i wouldnt get saga. No hate but everyone and their mom has a saga suit. Skiing is turning into a sport with a bunch of clones. screw that. mix it up there are tons of sick ski jackets/pants maybe be original so people some people will recongnize you when your up at the mountain unlike the hundreds of g suit drones?Ian compton hella stole my jacket tho so i cant really talk but dude hit up stores like kohls and jcpennys or other chain clothing stores an you'll actualy find some really cool stuff for way cheap. I found a rasta cholo polo tall tee at kohls for like 10 bucks. Even found a tall tee swetshirt that is super warm at jcpennys Even some thrift stores have hella cool stuff, i dont know do what you feel
 
The quality of the mystic goes back to the old Oakley stuff, and unfortunatly so does the price. I don't know how many of you remember or were even around when oakley made the sickest stuff think 1242 and before. It was also however the most expensive stuff. This year with the mystic they went back to that quality. It is going to be one of the highest quality pieces of outerwear you can find. The rest of their stuff is crap, but the mystic is a sick pant and jacket.
 
I remember back when Oakley was fucking crazy innovative and they made epic stuff. They have been going downhill ever since. I think it might have something to do with when Luxotica bought them out.
 
it is pretty damn good quality i have to say. it's going to be up there with the other high quality gear, at about the same price. personally though, i'd rather drop that money on something like HH, just because i know companies like HH have been making high-quality forever, as opposed to Oakley who made good stuff way back when but in the past few years was pretty shitty. Oakley would have to earn some trust back before i would throw that much money down on their new stuff.
