Oakley lens question

Hey NS, just picked up some oakley splices w/ black iridium lenses. I know they're meant for the bright, bluebird days, and i live on the east cost (killington) so we don't always get those. will the black iridiums work on those low light days where its snowing? my friend has the fire lens and he wears them all the time, even when its dark and snowy. if they won't work, what lens would be best? Thanks and +k for responses.

stupid side question-can you see a person's eyes through the black iridium lens? i know it doesn't matter, but still looks awesome!!

just look in the mirror to see if you can see yours eye, pink permision i think its called is meant to be really good for low vis days

You could always pick up a second lens for the splice and switch them up, persimmon if your on a bit of a budget, or hi yellow if you can get hold of one

if you dont want HI yellow cause people can see your eyes,. try out some pink iridium. Mirrored and pretty much the equivilent of clear lens.

ok that all sounds good. really don't care about my eyes with the low light lens, just wondering what's good. persimmon is probably the cheapest way to go, i'll try to find one of those i suppose. has anyone ever tried black iridium in low light conditions? maybe they will be good enough in the low light and i don't have to shell out more $$?
