OAKLEY LENS HELP (KARMA)

Just bought a pair of purple o-frames and want a yellow lens for them, but every picture of oakley lens I see are different. But to anyone who has a fire iridium which do they look more like in real life? I know one of these pics is misleading. Also whatd be better fire iridium or hi-yellow? karma for anything helpful.. pics would be sweet.

fire iridium is for sunny days

hi yellow for night riding or overcast days

there 2 very different lenses

but fir iridium look just like that picture, and its completely mirrored.
 
i wouldnt recommend the fire iridium. they are really dark. The Hi yellow lets a lot more light in. of you want something in between i would defiantly get the pink iridium if that comes for the o frames
 
That is definitely fire iridium, it lets in less than 20% of the light and is for sunny days obviously. I have a pair of A-frames with fire lenses and I love them, very good for sun and stuff.

I also have some hi-yellow lensed A-frames which I use in low light and for night skiing. Your best bet is to just buy 2 pairs, or at least 2 lenses if you want either yellow or fire.

If you can't afford 2 pairs or 2 lenses go with Persimmon lenses, not as attractive, but very good lenses nonetheless, I've used them a lot before too. They are a great all around lense.
 
Seconded. Those 2 lenses are as far apart as you can go except a clear lens. If you want something better for all around check out H.I. persimmon or pink iridium.
 
Ya hi persimmon should be good, for all but the brightest of bright days, my girlfriend just got some Stockholmes with h.i.-persimmon lenses.
 
which one were you guys saying the f.i. looked like of the 2 pics in real life? ones way more yellow ones a lot lighter
 
The cyclestore link looks like HI Yellow from a convenient angle to make them mirrored, while the other looks like a Fire Iridium. The Fire will look anywhere from red, orange, yellow depending on angle and lighting. Like everyone said they are 2 completely different ends of the spectrum as far as usuage goes so make sure you know what your buying them for, assuming functionality has any merit over style here?
