Oakley Large pants and large jacket

oh bummer, lets worry about my "cool" awsome "oakley" shit. man fuck corporate shit. Especially a golf bag making, sandal prodcuing, basketball shoe manufacturing company. Cant all you wanna be "steezed-out" kids follow the definition of soul and have your own fucking style. instead of buying the "dope" "hot" "oakley" "shit" because its "straight up steezy" make your own fucking steeze and be an INDIVIDUAL. A concept our sport was based off and a concept that is the roots of what steeze is. fuckin a.

and ya i just ranted. so fuck all you jive ass punks who would normally other wise point out the fucking obvious to us all. thanks for being captin fucking planet.

no fuckin way thats gonna be baggy

okay now do you think that maybe someway, some how oakley might be so popular for the images portrayed by some of the riders? And if anyone doenst think so, just go back through the list again and then ask ur self the same question.......

I don't understand. You just posted a bunch of good reasons why Oakley might be a solid company. and the little paragraph below made no sense.

okay so let me just type out a big ass paragraph as to why so many kids should stop following the crowd like a shit load of sheep and be "INDIVIDUALS".

Okay read through that list. Now look at the list and pick out all the names you think people might look up to.

Now lets look at the actual logistics of Oakely. Number one, do you know how many other sports they are into?

number two. when you take the number of other sports oakley has its hand in. you start to realize that the "INDIVDUALS" in our lovely sport, skiing, start to really not matter in the eyes of the company.

number three. my final point. you always hear talk of, the company should respect the riders this n that. basically they should be all about the "INDIVIDUAL" kid just out there seshing doing what he enjoys. If i remember correctly, LINE skis had this viewpoint down very well. the best of any company i feel safe saying. okay so let me sum this all up. Why support a company that has its money-funded hands into so many other proftiable cookie jars just because someone you look up to, or think is "sick" is being supported by that company?

Many people often forget, its not the fucking clothes that make you a good skiier, its the fucking person. All these big name pros started out with nothing and go to where the were because of themselves. Not the dope new oakley medic suite, size xxl that they just hooked dem selves up wit.

if you have ne other questions feel free to write me up a quick reply, and i will get back to you in no time. and remember kids, real men shoot there gats sideways!!

I could sell you a suit of top of the line Oakley 3ply stuff in XL, if you're willing to pay what it's worth.

either you are one witty man, which i respect. or you are completely blind by "the man" shaking hands with ur governor. regardless, touchey, jd may, touchey.

Both! But I wasn't lying. It's actually the "good" oakley outerwear, as opposed to the "shitty" line that got so much play on here this year. 3ply goretex is pretty fucking tech, and it's quality stuff.

^ok man to your replies im not saying they werent bad and i dont respect your opinion but i think oakley makes great, cool and reliable clothes.im getting the clothes at a really good price so im not spending all this money because its oakley.im spending less money because they make good product,i can get it for cheap and it looks good. who cares if its main stream?and i could dont give a shit who rides for oakley personally i think tanner hall is kinda gay...i know he is not the only person who rides for oakley but he is a big person for them in the ski industry who wears their stuff.

just saying what i think.

you probably A) Don't have any style or B) Are bitter because you can't afford nice gear.

please do us all on ns.com a favour and shut yo mowf bitch!

hahaha, if that isnt a case of a little bitch ass rich kid, i dono what the fuck is. haha. YA im fucking bitter because i cant afford nice gear. jesus christ. skiings has attracted some faggot ass kids and thats about 90% of this site. well word up

i really enjoy how i take the time to back up my arguements with vailid examples, compared to the complete lack of any sort of example provided by my smart freinds. well i guess that must saysomething right there. maybe they believe that on a website opinions are viewed so strongly that they dont need to back up ideas with facts, but hey, i only have about 300 posts so what do i know. goddamn.

on the issue of looking good, sure dont get me wrong, if u think you look good more power to you. But when you get the preception that hey, that pro skiier looks fuckin sick bro in his brand new medic suit and redbull new era cap, then shit maybe i would to, fuck that. BE A FUCKING INDIVIDUAL and dont follow trends. It might just be how all of us americans are raised and how its like a goddamn sin to be different or to not follow the crowd. well fuck that and thanks for taking skiing in the direction of a bunch of trends, so basically a fucking fashon show.

maybe one day, the x-games will give out steeze points for how fresh the competitors gear is. when that happens (notice when and not if) i will start a v-for-vendetta, or possible boondock saints group and we will take it back to the basics. well have fun bleeding to death from a well placed gunshot wound, but oh wait you will have ur "dank" medic suit to keep you warm.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Oakley has done so much for this ski industry that without them and their deep ass pockets, we may not have a site for you to rant on.

Oakley was sponsoring fools WAY before freesking was big, they hook up more kids now than any outerwear company, they make quality gear(up for debate, I know, but relatively, it's good stuff), they have been responsible for sponsoring some of the best ski movies ever made, and to be perfectly honest, I'm wondering why you don't like them so much. So maybe they've got a guy somewhere in an office that is slightly disconnected from the youth of today that are "blindly" buying his shit. "The Man" as you call it. But you can't deny the positive effect that Oakley has had on our industry, by getting guys like JP Auclair, T-Hall, Ant B, etc. out into the mainstream of sports.

And they sponsor plenty of big mountain riders. Not everyone they hook up is a little 12-year-old prodigy camo-wearing baggy-clothes "steeeezer".

And if you are gonna be such a dirty hippy, please, take the time and find your roots:

www.telemarktalk.com

welcome to part of that 90%. o's been sponsoring shit since day one, comps, riders, movies, you name it. we busted out heavy hitting (fairly oldschool, not too well known) on vhs a while back. sick movie, boronowski doin switchups way before they were big. sponsor? oakley. what company put out one of if not the best team movies in skiing? yeah, exactly. it doesn't matter what you wear, but there's nothing wrong with supporting a company that's supported skiing for as long as they have.

all i know is Oakley is the SHIT. i love em and always will so sm do all us a favor and shut the fuck up. k?

and for the kid that wants oakley stuff. get xl or bigger cause i have xl and its not very baggy and im 58.

yeah this guy is so right, what are you guys thinking, to be cool and original we should all sew our clothes together from scraps we find in the dumpster!

dude shut the fuck up and let people do what they want. you can buy your clothes from "individual" copanies if you want.

i'm not weighing in opinion wise here, but just so you know, quite a few of the people you listed no longer ride for oakley outerwear, although as i'm typing this, i'm realizing that the ones who aren't on the outerwear team anymore probably still ride for oakley eyewear. I'm an idiot.

once agian. i love how i bring out one opinion and some dumbass peice of cock loving shit automatically thinks im expressing an opion of polar opposite quality. Did i once mention that making you own "home-spun" would be better than buying oakley gear? no you fucking dumb idiot so dont be a deush and overexagerate shit to make it sound like im making an ivalid point. just because ur a stupid arrogant piece of shit who cant accept that you have nothing to say other than to take a stupid ass stance and try and relate my opinion to a hippie stand point. god damn u must get ur dick sucked buy ur dad. how do u like polar assumptions now bitch?

It's hard to take you seriously when there are a boatload of spelling and grammatical errors in your tiny little chunk of idiocy.

Learn to spell and write before you rant and rave about the ignorance of others. Oh, and also, if NS is 90% douchebags, why would you continue to preach to us? So that if 100 of us read this, 10 will throw their Oakley gear away in favor of "individuality"? What are you trying to accomplish?

And if Oakley showed up at your doorstep tomorrow willing to sponsor you(which they won't because you will never progress in the industry by being so negative towards such a major player in it), what would you say?

yay for sensay.

oakley is chill, though.

style is overrated.

including baggy clothes.

even though i rock the baggy for warmth/snow not getting in my ass/comfort.

yes, be yourself.

this is NS. don't expect grammar to be important, as mentioned above. even though i think it's still important.

the kid who made points one and two is a complete ass, and i hope you have a job that pays you well enough so that you can buy your own skiing gear.

because your parents just KNOW that HAVE to have that XXL antifreeze suit, right?

last but not least, this is funny.

haha, i love how now u take the standpoint of a third grade english teacher who preaches the importance of dotting your i's and crossing your t's. right on. this is a fucking website where spelling is useless because with todays youth and slang, many things are spelled entirely different to express a prononciation of a word to make it "hip" or "jive" such as "jea". thank you for telling me to whipe my ass after i take a dump at recess teacher.

And if good ole greg strokes him self fuckin showed up with a plubisher clearing house-esque check that said i would get a contract to sign with all oakley gear, then i can honestly say with no hesitation that i would definatly take that offer. But once again. u made a polar assumption and spoke your mind on what you thought i beleived, after you made an acusation with no real factual evidence or knowledge on my personal viewpoints, which by definition standpoint is called an opinion. I would love to get sponsored by oakley and try to push a different image other than the gangstar, fur-lined hooded one piece in flaming camoflauge colors. I know a big mountain skiier who is fully sponsored by oakley, actually he is on one of the empire banners on this actual site sliding a log for at targhee. He got sent all that same shit that all the "house-hold" pros got sent, and he chose to wear a dull green jacket with plain jane black paints, simply because he thought everything else was a little flamboyant. Now you might call that an opion, but there is one major way that excludes his view from and opinion category. He knows that skiing is not all about fashon. so by not basing his opinion on a belief or a lack of knowledge, his statement becomes exactly that, a statement. growing up in eastern wyoming were the only real resort is big horn mountain outside of sheridan, a place stuck in the past where skiing will always be 10 years behind there, he knows that in the pioneer days of leather boots and leather binding straps, it didnt fucking matter one bit how you looked when you skiied, as long as you straight up killed in skiing thats all that mattered. not how fresh your gear is.

and out of 100 people reading this, if just 10 decide to re-think their gear, that excedes my expections by about 100%. I would even be happy if just one person second guessed buying his "dope" threads this coming fall, because looking "steezey" by a skiing societal standard has become so engrained into the heads of the vast majortity (90%) of this site that just getting one brick to crumble from the wall is enough for me.

honestly i dont give a shit what ne of you will think or do after this thread because for one person to battle a group of you is meaningless, all im lookin for is people to question the means of there actions. is it for there own style or is it because bad leutenants are the "beez-neez"?

It's funny that you can't spell "wipe" when you try to make fun of me. And sad. But mostly funny.

I didn't make any assumptions about what you would say to Oakley. I just was curious. Because for every kid that is buying the flaming oakley camo suit(which is hideous, I agree) there is another guy that wants to wear a brown oakley jacket with black oakley pants because it's quality gear. So you need to not diss people for wearing Oakley, because they don't just hook up people that wear crazy shit. In fact, looking at their team list, I see 9 names out of 28 that I think dress to be "steezy". But guys like Anthony Boronowski, Seth Morrison, Daron Rahlves, and Shane McConkey are all outstanding examples that Oakley riders don't have to dress like crazy bastards.

And the kids that DO dress a little wild in an effort to be steezy, are park rats. I think that park riders have a complete different atmosphere of skiing to work in.

And I've said it, but I'll say it again. As soon as we start things like clothing and fashion so seriously as to hate on a whole company that really helps out our sport, we're fucked. Because our sport is so dangerous, if we start taking it too seriously, it won't be fun anymore.

okay fuck spelling dude. you found one fucking word out of the short novle i wrote the i spelled wrong. jerk me off one time for christs sake. the one thing u didnt mention is that McConkey is only on the apperal team and boronowski might be as well possible even rahlves.

And oakley doesnt make that good of shit. I've skiied in oakley puffpants, an oakley hotplate, some other oakley jacket, and another pair of oakley pants, and they've had the worst waterproofing ever. All their shit just gets water logged and sopping. I also know many other people who have the same experience. Oakley shit is not that good, i dont care what you say. i've been there done that and their shit sucks.

i'm 5'10, and pretty thin, i wear medium pants and a large jacket. i find they're both perfect. the pants can be pulled down a bit for more of a baggy style, but they aren't ridiculously baggy to the point where they look silly. and the jacket isn't so long that when you wear it with jeans, it looks like you're wearing a giant parka with tiny little peg legs pokin out. perfect fit on both.. check my profile - latest picture - if you really want to know (white orage jacket, black burton pants)

word homie

I'm over 6'2 200... XL is too small. Some of us legitimately need the XXL stuff! Stop buying it to look gangster you little fuckers.

Yeah I forgot that some of them are just for goggles and not for apparel.

The funniest part of this argument is that we agree on pretty much everything. I don't really like Oakley all that much. To me the best outerwear is Helly. But there really is no point in bagging on the whole company cause they make like 3 products that every 12 year old tahoe jib monkey buys.

If this cat wants oakley in xxxxxxl, let him get it. I'll keep recommending helly but I appreciate what oakley has done for the sport.
