Yeah I'm hoping a ski team wins or at least gets top 3 this year. Always been a very snowboard heavy contest but this year we had a lot more ski teams apply (unfortunately we couldn't give every team a spot and some great ski and board teams missed out on a spot).

I think the best result a team has had in the past is 2008 when Lockdown Projects got 3rd with Paddy Graham in the team.

Yeah, it will be in the Arena again.

Got the Urban Knights playing this year, doing Visual scratching etc: www.urbanknights.com

Currently sorting out a railjam and party at the White Lounge at the start too. Should be sick.

At the moment we are organinsing it as a photoshoot for 10 riders from the Jib-Vid teams.

If this changes we'll invite locals to be involved.

Anyone is welcome to submit a team (though obviously entries for this year are now closed).

We open entries around new year for about 6 weeks; as long as you have a team of 3 (can be any combinaion of skier, snowboarder and filmers), have your own equipment and can supply examples of skiing ability and filming style; you've got a chance.

Teams get free liftpass, accomodation and food for the event; you've just got to get yourself to Mayrhofen. Would have been cool to get some US guys involved this year, I posted here before about it.

Oakley have not announced their ski team ye; should be within next day or 2. Joe "Pistol Flip" Murrell was in it last year, though he was injured; so he may make a return this year.

Definitely got a chance, especially with Paddy and Webbo in the team. His teeam got the most stoked prize last year and Paddy's the only skier to have ever been in a top 3 team; so a good chance.

So there have been a couple of updates to the team list above, Lukas Joas is no longer available for the HZUMovieCrew team, so is replaced by his older brother Thadde Joas.

Also the Oakley Ski and Snowboard teams have now been confirmed:

Oakley Ski - Joe Murrell (GBR), Pat Sharples (GBR), Luggi Brucic (AUT)

Oakley Snowboard - Tyler Chorlton (GBR), Scott McMorris (GBR), Adam Gendle (GBR)

Finally, Whitelines and Westbeach team up with Andy Nudds (GBR), Billy Morgan (GBR) and Will Nangle (GBR).

Also, I've embedded below the long version of the 2009 film montage which has more skiing in than the short edit;

but first; take a look at the design for the special feature we'll be building in the Penken Park for the teams and anyone who wants to get involved on the Friday's best trick contest.

Stairset with down box and flatbox to drop; this

leads into a kicker gap-to-rail, surrounded by mini-quarter pipes with a

horizontal butter box sandwiched between.
