why the hell are Oakley goggles so expensive? And a shop manager told me they never go on sale. It is crap. Anybody know where i could get some for cheap? Or are they even worth $120?

i saw the 120 iridium ones on sale for 80ish a little while ago. i wouldnt know how good they are because i dont have that money to spend on goggles. spy and smith have good goggles as well.

 
The prices you said are the same at the shop i work at. Never go on sale here too. As far as why they are so expensive, a lot of that is the name I think. Partly though, Oakley's are really good stuff and another part of that price goes for all the R & D they do in order to get new lenses out like their fire lense. That would be my guess.

They are good stuff....

I found a pair of black A-frames with the black iridium lens for about $70....Pretty cheap right? Should I go for it?

I'd say yes - a-frames are worth the money. I got a pair and they are the best goggles I have ever put on for seeing the hill and periferal vision. And those new clearish blue lenses or whatever colour they are - those things are sick. they like, actually improve your vision in flatlight, sunny, and well - just driving down the road. Amazing.

yes i think they are worth it too. i have clear lenses and forget they are on after a day because they are so comfortable

I just went with thebeast128 to a shop in Breck, and they were selling mirror A-Frames for 60, and iridium A-Frames for 90. Anybody in CO that wants some should check it out.

yeh i think i can get them for about 45-60 depending where i get them from. my dad is an eye doctor and the place he works at carries them and he can get them for 50% off. my brother works at a ski shop and got an o-form where he can get them for like 65% off. man i got the hook up.

 
i got some oakley o frames for $20. good deal. ok goggles.
