So currently i have a pair of oakley crowbars with fire iridium lenses, but i was looking in to getting a lighter tinted lens, and thought the dark greys looked pretty sick. so does anyone know how dark the dark greys are compared to the fire iridiums?

sorry if it's a repost i searchbared and couldnt find what i wanted, +k to good answers

thanks

go on oakley.com and check out the light transmission spectrum chart for their lenses. i would do it for you, but i just dont care enough to.

fire iridium is much darker and i think it's their darkest lens. the dark grey lens is very nice and not as dark as you would think. fine for days with a some overcast, i used mine all the time until someone at mt snow stole my crowbars >:(

where are you guys that you need such dark lenses? i use persimmon all the time. i was in CO and it was bright and sunny and i was fine. and they don't suck at night time.

Anyone know where to get one other than the Oakley site? Oakley says they will ship in 3-4 weeks and my season will probably be over by then.

in all honesty its a pretty shitty lens. i swear it does have the anti fog shit on it. mine fogged up and i tried to wipe it off and now there is just a permanent smear on the inside of my lens that wont go away. all they are basically good for is got the murdered out look. spend the extra money to get a better lens it will be worth it unless you dont care about function and only care about looks.

i have the dark gray in my crowbars right now they are awesome! like i have used them in all condition and they are perfect (except in white light) but for your average overcast day they are great.

dont bitch about how its the len's fault its fucked up, its your. next time dont wipe the inside of your lens when its wet and it wont happen...

i couldnt see...

the whole lens was fogged up

what was i supposed to do sit there and wait for it to dry? no.

and im not the only one with this issue so there is really no need to get yourself worked up im just trying to warn people before they invest in someting

holy shit. im not saying the lens got that mark all by itself. the main point i was trying to make was that it fogs like a bitch. i am VERY aware that i fucked up the lens, but it shouldnt fog and have condensation on the inside of the lens to begin with.

ahhhh sorry, didn't understand you. same happened to me on mine, and i finally got the moisture out, then someone stole my goggles.
