OAKLEY CROWBAR SNOW VS. MX

does anyone know if the crowbar mx can convert to regular snow goggles . They offer a sick color schemof green. And I must have it
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the MXs use a flat lens as opposed to a spheric lens. I also thing there isn't as much anti fog tech that goes into them. Plus the lens tints might not due justice when it comes to reflecting the glare of a snow.

Well i would definitely run my Dark grey or iridium lens for snow . I was thinking rhe same thing about the anti fog but i woild basically just through the clear lens away anyway I do knpw the lens is spherival and not flat as far as the crowbar goes, bit lesser goggles are flat
 
the lens in all oakley mx goggles is flat.

and they have black nobs to put tear offs on, you might be able to put a snow lens in the frame though i think i am going to have to try that with mine.
 
well i just ordered them the color match is too perfect to not attempt , will post with info in a frw days
 
Not sure about switching out the lenses but I've had a few times where the wife grabbed my mx oaks I use for mtb instead if my ski oaks and they worked fine. Other than the clear lense not blocking the sun too well they didn't fog and kept my eyes from watering at speed.
 
IT WILL NOT WORK. I hate to break it to you, (although you already ordered them, so you will find out soon enough...) but the Oakley's mx goggles and snow goggles are a completely different shape. Also the mx ones use a flat lens, and a spherical lens definitely will not fit into the mx frame.
 
What he said ^. Not sure about the crowbar lenses, but the O Frame MX goggle lenses are much lighter than the snow goggle lenses. (I just compared the MX Fire lens to the snow Fire lens and there's a big difference.)
