Oakley copying Ankilla

By Sammy deleting comments, it shows a consciousness of guilt. Inspiration was indeed drawn from Xankilla.

If Sammy did not copy, the response would be, "Hey, these totally look similar, but here’s where we got the inspiration and how we came up with this." Him deleting comments and having a meltdown over this shows there was inspiration from Xankilla.

Sammy is freaking out - even said that these comments and xankilla were "an insult to his way of life"

I think the funniest part of this is that Oakley is talking up how they used holograms and shit to design this “new genre of headwear” only for people to just say “looks like ankilla” lmao. They probably used some dumbass AI program and it just copied whatever garbage it found for free on social media

Posting some of oakleys past ads here to show they've already been on some mysterious hidden marketing vibes for a while. Also, sammy is right in that Xankilla has never been and will never be a good representation of the skiing community.

I grew up watching Sammy and have been a fan for a long time.

That being said, he seems to take himself very seriously as he has aged. If he would have ignored this, it literally would have gone away. Now it’s left us with a bad impression. generally I would feel the same. but for whatever reason it doesn't even bother me because of how much of a clown xankilla is, and generally how removed from social media sammy is. he's prob not used to getting called out and hated on to the point where he's had to learn to ignore it. the lesson for the snow samurai is happening right now.

If i was sammy, or any other pro skier for that matter, I would 100% tell someone like chris to fuck off in a DM. He's not some kid looking up to sammy, he's not some role model, chris is a huge piece of shit that doesn't deserve any of the attention this whole situation is giving him. Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of ankilla, but why are all the threads abt him funny asf. like sometimes I almost hope for him to get unbanned just to see him get pressed by everybody on the website/app. he is a piece of shit but all the drama around him is always gold.
