Oakley antifreeze puffy's

I can get some Antifreeze puffy's for really cheap. This is kind of a dumb question but here it goes: Ok so I've been riding park for like 5 days and I can throw 3's and next time I'll have grabbed 5's off a 40 footer. I've participated in a lot of sports where you see only good people with certain kinds of gear, in skiing the people with the antifreeze puffy's usually throw down pretty big stuff. I don't really wanna look like some poser with some really steezy gear if I can't even throw more than a 5. Then again I think, hey if I have the money and want to look cool why not buy sweet shit? I know most of you are probably going to be like who cares just ski, and that is pretty much my opinion too I just don't wanna look like some poser cause I don't really like people who do that. Also I can get the coat that matches the pants (I haven't seen it but my friend saw it at the shop today) and I was wondering if it looks dope with the pants (I'm assuming it does but if sombody could post up a pic that would be awesome). Also if people on here want me to get some extra pairs (if I can) and sell them I'd be more than happy to do that. I'll be at a store that has them tomorrow so I'll see what they got. My friend said they had some XL and bigger so that will be dank, I know most people here love those pants especially in those sizes.

I realize this thread is dumb but I was just wondering what people would think if I do what I said above.

You can throw down more than me. Like you said, just ski. If you can afford sweet new gear then get it. I do think that there is a limit on the stuff though. Like if you can't hit a rail or a small jump yet you have brand new t-halls, spks, and a brand new, $550 Saga suit, then I think you went a little over board or your parents bought the stuff for you. There is no problem with parents buying some stuff for you, like you got As in school and they bought you some sick new googles or cool gloves or you get it for christmas, but if your parents buy you $700 skis and boots and the best crap availibe and you don't know how to do anything but ski down greens, then you need to rethink what your doing.

sometimes i think about the same thing, like what if people are like he has dope shit, he must be good. it kind o fpisses me off, but out of the park ill rip as hard as anyone

that is fine, usually if you are throwing down figves over 40 footers I have respect for you. If you like looking steezy then do it, I got no problem. I think that if you can do atleast a three and can hit rails then you should be allowed to rep steezy shit

yea i'll kinda admit i got some steezy stuff and i can only do 3's and almost 5's and i can almost 270 out on rails, but i ski with kids who are a lot better than me and ask them i push 2x as hard as anyone else i know to progress and get better so i wouldnt be to quick to judge someone who isnt really good, granted if he cant even do a rail yet theres a prob or if they are still to pussy do try a 3 or even a 180 and has like dope shit id like force him to progress or jack his shit

I went through the same thing you are, I'm not very good, but I have the sweetest setup. But really, if your trying, knowing is going to even think your're a poser. I'd get it, since they're the most comfortable pants I've ever worn.

Yea...Working at a shop, I have access to lots of skis and outer wear for cheap / free. I dont throw down hardcore in the park (working on 3's...can 270 out of rails.) I will charge outside the park though. I know some people look at me and think "with that gear, he should be better" but its all just about fun. if you like the way it looks, the rock it, and fuck whatever someone else says.

yeah! go for the whole suit. so nice. it's only the losers that rag on kids for having nice gear so don't worry about it. just go out and have fun and look good doing it.

Ok so a bunch of people have PM'd me about getting extra gear. I think I'll be going to the shop tomorrow, or sometime this week. How much do pants and the jacket usually go for?

That is true. Why would you give a shit about what others think.

I am a decent skier (3's easy, good at rails, 270 on sometinmes), and i have a full link setup.

I got a deal on it and i wanted quality stuff.

That is all that matters.

alright guys, so here's the deal: I'm probably going to the shop tomorow so I'll buy as many pairs as I can cause I know lots of people here would love to get some. how much are they usually going for (coat and/or pants)?

and Rekker, were you at Stevens Saturday?

Ok so here's what happened. I get to the shop today and they have 1 pair of antifreeze puffy's left. The other 2 had sold in the past 3 days. So I bought them to keep for myself. Also they only had 2 coats, 1 large one xxl so I bought the large. The pants were xxl so they are massive on me (I'm 5'10). Anyway I'm sorry I couldn't hook up like 3 pairs and sell the other 2 on here for cheap. And just to brag, I got the pants for $88 and the coat for $81. It was sooo fuckin cheap. Anyway how much would the pants go for on here?

not to be a hater but there are posers on my hill mainly cause i live in a pretty rich town. And its pretty easy to pick them out. Theyre the one that have paid full retail for that setup which cost probably over a grand all from their parents. And i see them everyday and its not only skiers, its usually worse with the snowboarders. There are soooo many kids that go out there and cant do shit. They are the kids that skip the rails and do straight air safety grabs. But if you are throwin 5's over a 40fter then you dont count in that category. But i guess the part makes it all the better is when im crusing down in my clothes that fit and kill it right in front of them.

the only time i hate on posers that wear new shit and cant do shit is when they are dickheads and think they are the shit.

aight guys. Well I'm sorry I couldn't pick up more pairs, I had enough money for like 2 coats and 3 pairs of pants but they were all sold out. The pants are massive on me cause they are xxl and I'm 5'10 so if they end up being just way to big I might put em up for sale, I'll be using them tomorrow though. I wore the coat to school today and some people were like wow your a retard, but most of those kids were fags anyway. I'll keep an eye out for any puffy's I see, there are like 2 Oakley outlets near me and I usually get in there at least once a month. A lot of the neon stuff doesn't sell as well around here (WA state, near Seattle).

I just got mine....and its warm. Its weird, but i do feel like i have to throw down bigger because i have better gear. ANY KID WHO IS UNDER 6 FEET, and LIGHTER THEN 150 LBS SCHOULD NOT....I REPEAT NOT get oakley xxl. I just got my oakley puffy jacket, and oakley troop pants in xl....and they are HUGE on me. Im 6 1, 185 lbs, and my crotch was literaly to my knees. This shit is huge. If tanner does rock the xxl, and is smaller then me, he must look like a real shit bag man cause oakley xxl is made so that fat people can look steezy.

definetly get them they are sweet

but i got a friend who has full out burton plaid stuff and it looks sick but he cant slide a 20 foot rail

hahaha, yeah, the crotch is at your knees. I havent seen you at the hill lately....where you been?
