i got some oakley a frames and for some reason theres like smudges on the lens. im pretty sure they have 2 lens so its on the inside how do i get rid of it

didn't you just make a thread about whether you should buy a frames?

anyways i actually have the same problem except mine appeared after a season of skiing and i can't figure out how to get rid of the smudge. i've tried washing it, cleaning it, spitting in it, nothing.

the a-frame lens was coated with an anti-fog. I was this real thick invisiable coat. When you wiped them without the cloth or to hard with the cloth you smudge the coating. Not that any one would read the instructions on a pair of goggles but it told you not to wipe the inside of the goggle while they were wet.

you might as well as throw them away.

yah well i did get them fast. i was thinkin once im out skiing the anti fog aeratio n system might kick in and clear em up...i hope

nope, they are fucked, i have ruined a pair of lenses that way...like the guy said above the coating is smeared......don't wipe them anymore it'll only make it worse

Oakley calls it oxidized. warranty them and youll get a new one. go to the shop you bought them at and warranty them. soemtimes it "randomly" happens. also its its near something warm...

fuck i bought them off ebay, can i just call oakley and tell them my a framea are smudged and theyll replace?

no, you need to find a professional goggle mechanic and have him do it for you for about $50. its a pain in the ass but worth it.

just playin man. you just gotta pop the lens out and make sure you put the new one in tight
