Oakley '09: Extremely Disappointing.

to be honest i was completey happy with my oakley stuff from last year

i felt it all held up quite well
 
so...when your at the mountain skiing what is all around you?...snow...what do snowboarders and skiers both love?...snow...and lastly when you look down at the ground what are on your feet?...boards...we just have 2 rather than 1...

fuck you.
 
so your just going to ignore how shitty they are getting because you want to feel good about what a company is producing, despite the fact that it is over priced and generally low quality? thats smart.
 
HAHAHAHA, thats mature. I just believe in trying to keep money in the ski companys pockets instead of companys like Burton or Anon. How many boarders do you think wear Orage or Spyder?
 
no. firstly, i live in nz, we dont ski waste deep pow, or in -20 degree conditions. so to me, oakley isnt poor quality at all, infact it suits just fine for me. secondly, when i look to buy gear its around may or june, your season has finished so everything on the net is on sale and i pick up some good deals. so yes, it is smart
 
I have the mystic line and i have to say that this is the best jacket and pants i've ever had from oakley.
 
Oakley isnt even owned by the guy that founded it. But where is he you might ask?

Hauling ass with RED and the super high quality video cameras. Guess he took the quality with him from Oakley when he left...
 
Well yes, the top of their line is going to be the best you've had... the point I was making though was that the mystic suit in USD is $750. For that same $750 I could be suited up completely in Gore-tex that is durable, instead of 20K that the pants rip easily.
 
step aside oakley saga is on the run.

oakley made the best pair of pants of all time. the unobtaniums. other than that not much goin on over there.

burton ak is maybe the best stuff for the money out there. i just got a burton idiom for backcountry, its the lightest high performance jacket in the world. its pretty dope it weights like as much as a few sheets of paper. and packs down to like a baseball.
 
well i wouldn't spend this much money either. i wouldn't ride oakley if i didn't get their stuff that cheap. just paid 250 euros for the mystic which are idk like 370$ ?! for this price it's ok. and it's good material either.
