ive been bored lately so i thought i would make a guide.

for those who dont know what the game is, o2skiing.com. its super fun and addicting.

at first this game seems hard. with practice you can stomp your kangs just like jon though

Controls:

mouse moves the skier.

q is quit.

esc is pause.

0 is restart the run.

Riding normal:

moving your mouse left moves the skier left, and right moves him right.

try to keep your cursor around his butt area while just riding normal, that way if you hit any unexpected bumps you will keep you balance going through the air.

Riding switch:

to go switch simply turn the mouse left or right until he faces switch.

or you can jump and do a 180.

you turn normally.

Jumping:

pop right before the lip to get the most air.

to pop simply hold down and click to pop.

While doing a straight air hold your cursor in the center-head portion of his body and you wont face plant or land back seat.

Tricks

------------------------------------------------

Back flip:

hold your cursor all the way at the top of the screen directly in line with the skier.

pop off the jump and move your mouse directly down over his body.

once you do the rotation center your cursor right behind his butt-head area again.

speed depends on the size of the jump and speed.

Front flip:

everything is the same as a back except hold your cursor directly below the skier and then go upwards.

Spins: for some reason they are super hard on this game

approach the jump normally with your cursor around his butt-head area.

pop off the lip and move the mouse straight to the left or right.

finish the rotation and bring your cursor back to his center are.

540

same as a 3 except do another half rotation

720

same as 5 and 3 cept go for 2 rotations

900,1080,1260(stomped my first 12 today)

all the same as above

Corks

--------------------------------------

cork 3 (they are a bitch)

approach the jump normally

have your cursor all the way at the top of the screen

pop off the lip and throw your mouse diagnolly left or right half way down the left or right side of your screen

finish the rotation and bring your cursor back to his center again.

cork 5,7,9,10

exact same just throw your mouse harder

Rodeos (super easy)

approach the jump normally

have your cursor at the top of your screen again

pop off the lip and move your mouse down to the bottom left or right corner of your screen

finish the rodeo and move your cursor back into the center

D-spins

-----------------------------------

approach the jump with your cursor in the center of your skier

pop off the lip and throw the mouse diagonally half way between the center of your screen and the side

Bios

----------------------------------------

same as corks except start your cursor below your skier and throw the mouse upward diagonolly into one of the screen corners

Double flips

--------------------------------

double backs and fronts

same as normal except through your mouse harder

Kangaroo flips

(ive only landed 1, the game doesnt read it as a kang but it looks just like one)

start with your cursor at the center of the skier

pop off the lip and move your mouse in a circular rotation.

after you do a complete circle with your mouse move your cursor straight up

then recenter the cursor on the skier and stomp it.

Switch takeoffs

all the same rotations and mouse positions just hit it switch

i like the idea of using the mouse but

Dont even bother to play this, so hard to use and it glitches on me all the time. I just fall at the lips of jumps sometimes

I do random backflips and front flips when my mouse is steady and i want to straight air

This game sucks so far, i hate it., wasted a hour trying to see if it would become cool but no im just in a bad mood. FUCK this
 
ive been playing this a few days now and its so awsome. obviously the graphics of the charater need to be somewhat improved but the gameplays raelly fun...i love it
 
For sure, man. I had the same problem and I played it for so long before realizing how to jump, spin and land, etc. It's a damn hard game.
 
Love it but I think they need to be a little more forgiving on the landings.

Being able to control your spins is cool and its cool to figure out how to do em, but normal spinning needs to be easier.

And how do you make a spin go really fast?

One time my mouse glitched and I did like a 7000 100 backflipy spin thing but i can't get it to spin fast either then like a cork 7 off the first jump which was also fluke...
 
I d/led it at school and it worked fine, but when i got to my home comp it didn't really work. I installed it fine and stuff but i couldn't use my mouse button to pop, when i clicked it just kinda made the motion of jumping but didnt leave the ground. I couldn't spin in the air either. I am wondering since it is a mouse game if i need certain mouse settings/resolution or something. I also have a widescreen monitor if that could be the problem. If anyone else has solved the problem let me know please.

Also i have XP and my PC has great components so its not a question of being able to run it. it is something with the configuration.
 
for me when i want to jump, i have to hold it down, then at the lip click again and it works is that what your doing?
 
No i know you have to hold it (sorry i didn't make that clear), i played it at school... its gotta be somethign with the comp. Does the game load in 680X400 resolution? (or the one around there) because my monitor's minimum looks to be 800X600 (as far as i can tell)
 
super interesting game. the gameplay is glitchy and inconsistent, but it has a lot of potential. overall, i like the basic concept of the game and i really hope it develops. landings need to be more forgiving for sure and it would be a lot nicer with the addition of shadows and more grabs. but hey, its only a few megs, loads super quick on my slow-ass computer, and the format is pretty cool. i did a whiskey flip on accident, and should have landed it but a little backseat=death. find the step-up in the valley straight ahead from the starting point. i've already gotten cocky and just started calling it max's gap. good stuff.
 
it's not working for me i download it but when its done there is no where for me to click to play the game it only says uninstall. y? someone help.
 
When people give you karma, your karma rating goes up. Your posts will be read as "more credible" if you have more karma. The better you post, the higher your karma will be. The more postwhoring and spamming you do, the less your karma will be. The medium rating is 50.
 
you can get it to work on vista just requires a little effort

go to the .exe file in program fiiles

right click - properties

compatabilities tab

then run it in compatability mode for xp
