stupid. Anybody ever sank Pontoons or S7s or EP Pros or Bents or Lotus 138s or Donner Parties or Night Trains or Comis or Lotus 120s or 112 waisted LL2s? so maby we don't need a 178 waist?

The waist on these things is 176. Which means they out do the phatypuss. By alot actually... They are almost as big as the Liberty BFF, which I don't think ever got past test phase.

Yeah, I am skiing a pair of Chopsticks this year, and I don't think I even need anything that big... wtf is with >140 waisted skis? They are just too heavy at that point.

I started skiing deep pow on 68 wasited 155 SL skis and 175 GS skis and loved it a ton. It seems like most people under 16 or so can't really do that/complain the whole time because they are used to powder skis(I was 12 or 13 when doing that, but like 5'10").

I guess I can't keep up with the young kids at the old age of 17, because I don't really understand this new trend.

It seems to me like everyone wants to float on top, I thought face shots were still fun though.

Guess I'm wrong, oh well.

word, my slalom skis are 64 underfoot, last winter we ended up with waist deep pow, and for some reason brought race skis haha
it was still fun

dude, you havn't seen the latest edit from the hulk? Hes rockin these, word on the street is that hes gonna ride for RMU skis for the 09/10 season.

pow-ski

Yeah guys this ski looks ridiculous and yeah a little excessive but We realize that and this ski is still in R&D and there is two pairs as of now. but that is also why we have the Professor which is 144.5-120-136.5 and that will be our main pow ski. If the fat girl ever gets produced it will be very limited. As far as how it skis obviously its strictly a pow ski but it preforms real well and is surprisingly quick.

thanks guys,

RMU

I don't care what anyone says, these are stupid. Everyone said the same thing with the powder revolution a few years ago, but this is by no means the same situation. As said before, has anyone ever had a problem floating on a Hellbent or similar ski? Probably not. These are big for the sake of being big, and I'm sure the maneuverability is crap compared to the average fatty pow ski.

or not. if ur sinking on a pontoon or hellbent or one of the other 20 powder skis mentioned in this thread you should fucking quit skiing and move somewhere tropic, as your obviously not talented enough to do anything but sit in the sand.

haha yea exactly you dont need a gaint ass ski to ski pow yea it helps but so limited in use most of the time and any good skier can ski pow on a regular ski and stll have a blast
