NZ trip this summer

So i am going to NZ this summer and planning on skiing. staying in queens town for a while and then going up to the north island for a week or so, leaving in early june and staying till the end of the month.wondering, What the seasons like, and hopefully if there might be enough snow to ski while im there? Wheres a good place to demo park skis in and around Queens-town if so. Wheres the best place to ski, i have heard good things about the remarkables for a close resort to where i am staying in Queens-town.Looking for some help NS.

their season is a little later than australia's. late june won't be awesome. if you want a party atmosphere go to queenstown but the skiing near wanaka is a LOT better. snowpark and treble cone are the best. you can drive there from queenstown but its a pain in the arse.
