he's slightly injured i heard...

anyone notice ashley battersby has placed top 5 in every contest she entered in 2008? four of which being first place? chick is on top of her game...

harlut got screwed!!!!! russ heshaw deserved 1st for sure but harlut was a very close 2nd, and lots of guys had troubles washing out or having skis pop off, margetts shi poped off and colby washed out in both finals and then crashed on a dub cork 12 on his last run, pretty crazy comp though, it was fun to watch tanner ski slope style!!!

My boy is kicking ass!

Hopefully Andri is gonna show off again at freestyle.ch.. Damn I'm so stoked!

russ henshaw defiantly had the best contest run out of those but tanners and harluat's were so smooth and stylish i enjoyed watching there runs more than henshaw's

Congrats to Russ and Ashley for their wins, cool t see tanner out their just taking it easy having fun

FUCK YEAH A-BOMB. destroying it.

Can't wait for you to get home... Congrats girl. I knew you could do it :)

Congrats to all the other girls too. way to kill it !

Peace LOVE and shanny cohen hahaha xoxoxo

Russ definatly spun his way to victory and stomped his run.

My favorite run of these was harlaut. I mean a switch 12 is like so much harder then a 10 and his 7 was huge.

Anyway it was logical that russ would win with that run.

yeah i think some of them were just dicking around if you see tanners run he does like a 0 spin which was ill but with the judges thats not what theyre looking for, im happy hes trying to bring that back

if colby landed his second trick he probly wouldve been in the top two but the jump was too small to double

watched russ skiing PB park a couple of weeks back...guy absolutely rips

i think the only thing that can really improve in his skiing from here on will probably be the technicality of his grabs, and the length he holds them for

props to russ...doing it for the aussies!

Sweet to see gus competing in there with all of those guys as well, need more guys like tanner and gus to rep ns~

Henrik did 2 amazing practice runs before his final runs but unfortunately didn't get that run down in finals which I think would of won. Switch on frontside 810 off on up box, Right 9 super tweaked tail on 1st jump, switch 14 on last jump an sw 270 on 270 out on flat down. Also Gus got some sick sw double cork/rodeo 10 with mad stompage in finals but slid out a bit on the flat down.

Thanks you soo much! really apreciate that you notice that!!!

too bad i didn't get the 810out of the box (did 630) and i don't like to do reverts in my runs soo that was why i had to change it up (and just did a sw 7 silencer instead of that right 9)

gotta notice the leigh powis had a dope run too, just had a lil underrotated dub back..:/

Dane tudor were BY FAR.. the steeze'est skiier in this comp... if he could get that steeze on to high spins he will be the new wallisch... too bad that the judgers didn't think of the steeze too much... but really a name to remember!!!

THANKS!!!

out of the 4 riders on that vid, u were easily 2nd behind henshaw.

i mean come on, sammy? what 450 out, like no grab on first jump, i guess ok ten on the big jump then a pretty sketch 450.

ur run topped that easily...u'll kill it this year in comps, just need to crack those big names

wish we could see tudor and powis

just watched it again sammys first trick was good, but u held ur grabs for literally twice as long a sammy did. plus u got the extra rotations. Better steeze+extra rotations.

guess things are a little backwards down under in terms of judging

I dont get it, at first ure all against spin to win, and now there is something like that. For sure Henrik threw an amazing run, but Sammy did a sw bio10 to a sw RIGHT bio9 (if I saw correctly). Henrik didnt spin both ways, thats why he doesnt deserve 2nd place in my opinion. Id like to see andris and marlons runs, since marlon is a friend of mine with whom ive been skiing all year here in austria...

it really depends on the judging.

To me, henrik's corked (9?) held critical on the 1st hit, and super tweaked mute 12 on the second hit are better than spinning both ways because he got the extra rotation and the longer/better grabs. Henriks 1st rail was better than sammys as im pretty sure sammy did a 450 off but i can't really tell with the vid.

Although a 450 disaster does rightly beat a switch up even it did look better on the last flat down. So i guess it could have gone either way, but i would have gone with henrik at least 3rd, sammy 4th without seeing the other competitors

Im not, he wasnt taking it seriously and he threw a zero spin which, unfortunately, is worth about zero points~
