NYE Rail Jam!

Cascade Mountain will be hosting it's annual New Years Eve Rail Jam again this year. Register from 4-5:30pm in lower Daisy (the chalet up by the terrain parks). Comp is from 6pm – 9pm at the stair set in the rail yard. Cost to register is at least 2 non-perishable food items. It's a pretty fun and laid back comp. i believe there will be 4 or 5 divisions depending on if there are enough girls for a girls division. Otherwise the divisions are 15 and under boarders, 15 and under skiers, 16+ boarders, and 16+ skiers. We usually have some pretty good product to hook up the winners with. So if you want to come session the stair set and maybe win some product, bring 2 canned goods and it's game on. Helmets are mandatory... no exceptions! Oh and there will be fireworks afterwards. Haha no I think that might be happening at MWO. But yeah hopefully I see a bunch of NSers tomorrow! I'll be there from 7 AM till whenever the rail jam ends. I'm hoping to actually do some skiing tomorrow... the last few days have been too crazy haha
 
ill be there around 9 ish tonight. is the jam actually on the stairset? will it be open once the comp is done?
 
the event was SICK! they only had prizes for 1st place but the entry fee was canned goods so it was all good....really fun time though
 
I personally wasnt very stoked at all about the down bar, down bar, down bar set up. I didnt end up staying but i just dont see how that could have gotten very creative..
 
I wasn't too stoked about it either.... but we really don't have any other rails to put on the stair set. So the idea was to have an easy, medium, and harder rail. I didn't want it on the stairset but it was the easiest place to have it... and during hell week (holiday week) easy is good. So I understand what you're saying, but it was really just a laid back, fun comp.
