alright I rode the pipe New Year's Day and is surprisingly well built. You can get an average of 7 hits and speed is easily attainable. Despite the fact that only 10 percent of the skiers and snowboarders that use it actually get above the walls, it's going to be a sweet pipe in the springtime.

 
Dude don't get down on the kids trying to ride a superpipe for the first time. It is totally different than any other aspect of the sport. You can't just be a good jumper or jibber, you also have to be a good all round skier and know how to use your edges. Even then it takes lots and lots of practice to even be able to ride it well let alone be able to throw down tricks in a run. Give the kids some time with it.

if you have any skill as a skier whatsoever, you should be able to get above the deck your very first run, i don't care if you have never ridden pipe before, it's not that difficult.

I really wasn't there to see how bad they were so it could have been as bad as they say. I was just saying that skiing pipe is the most difficult part of the sport.

I don't agree with Mark, but whatever. Sounds dope, I'm gonna have to get up there sometime soon.
