NSxOneill jacket be available in Europe?

So will the NSxOneill jacket be available in Europe?

At the moment you cant order it from any of the onneill european online shops. Will you be selling it through the NS website?

We only have the right to sell the jacket in North America right now. Im sure this is something we can look in to doe 2014/15. You would need a friend to buy it from www.oneilleshop.ca and then ship to you.

I doubt anyone that I know in NA would buy it then ship it over to Europe.

Shipping from NA to Europe is around $100US then import tax (at least in the UK) is between $100 - $200US. If you stocked it at a few of the EU O'Neill stores (I can think of a few myself), then we (as your customers) would be grateful and more likely to purchase your products again.

Missing out on the EU market with this jacket is a stupid idea. There'll be no point in "maybe" doing it for 14/15 as nobody will bother and look elsewhere for a jacket, or go to one of your "competitors" that will ship from NA to the EU.
 
They wouldn't even need to do this as they have official oneil online EU stores already.

As for posting I got a jacket posted to me from whistler by a friend for $30 and because it was a used item didnt need to pay import..

So you just need a friend who can take the labels off for you etc. But its a ball ache and surely wouldnt cost oneil alot to stock it over here. Even if it was on a special pre order basis.
 
You have to pay both import tax and vat on used items? They say to the RRP, but they'll usually let it slide at a Lower cos
 
Yeah you swiss get it seriously fucking lucky, I'd kill to live there with the amount of import tax I've paid haha
 
Hey guys, just to clarify -- we fucked this one up and not O'Neill, and that's why theycan't sell it in their EU store.

I'll see if there's a way we can act as a middle man... no promises though!
 
Lets be clear here -

I fucked this one up.

We're still getting used to how many Europeans have been flooding the site as of late. We were so heavily North American for so long, but those days are freaking over.

We will most certainly do everything we can to get this figured out, but in the future I assure you we will make Europe a top priority.

 
Oh no we get raped on import tax on new items.

yes we only pay 7% VAT but they normally charge anywhere between 30 and 90CHF just to open the box and go "ok nothing illegal"

Once paid 60CHF for a 40CHF bike tire... I almost died.
 
I too would like to express my interest in a european sale of the colab. Shipping and import taxes kill for trans-atlantic sales.
