hey there! how many of you guys are from van island? i know maybe like 3-4 people from here, would be awesome to find some more local skiers to possibly shred with.

I live in Campbell River, will be into shredding Mt. Washington a lot this winter - I don't know many skiers out here either we'll have to link up!

used to live in nanaimo a while back then got shipped to Alberta

I just moved to the island in mid-april so I only got a few days up at the MTN this season but I plan on riding every weekend and a few nights this season so ill be up there a lot

Yeah I love to film, have a nice little 7D set up so I definitely want to shoot a few edits this season

Hi Guys

I'm also new to vancouver island and I am looking for people to ski with. I'm planning to go night skiing a lot this winter. I live in Ladysmith and will be going to VIU.

Sweet I'll try to come some weekends too. The night season's pass is so cheap, that's why I went for that, but I may be able to get a few day tickets.

awesome, if your really into park it will be perfect, the park is always empty at night, like maybe 10-15 people tops, its defiantly worth it

That Sounds good. I skied park for my first time at Momentum this summer and I am looking forward to more of it.

luckky, mt. washingtons park isnt anywhere near as good as momentum would have been, but that would be like the best place to start of with park

As you know I'm from Vic. I don't get up as much as I used to though. When I'm up there I'll usually hiking the Outback chair with my buddy or taking laps rarely through the park.

Yeah hike from the tope of the Eagle up, not exactly secretive because it is a trail that you hike up and ski down into the basin on unmarked trails.

also does anybody know any good spots to build pow jumps on mount washington?

If you guys are in university check out UVic Snow, a couple buddies and I run it. Well I just gradded and moved to Vancouver but they're still keeping it going strong.

There should be a rail jam announced soon and theres tons of events and trips (trips for club members only though) coming up.

If you're interested look up UVic Snow on FB, tons of sweet people to shred with.
