Want to join the conversation? Get on twitter and use "#NSChat" in the tweet and it'll be added to the stream of dialogue. Pretty neat.

I think this is proving my theory that the youth demographic doesn't give two shits about twitter.

Twitter in the ski industry is simply a bunch of marketing people talking to each other about promoting to the youth through social media.

i have had a twitter for a while and the only reason i signed up was so i could get a free shirt for tweeting something... found a couple of my friends that day and havnt touched it sense. twitter really sucks and isnt useful to me in anyway as a college student.

Twitter is a medium, it's all in how you use it.

It's a great way of getting up to the minute news or a behind the scenes picture from a film company out shooting urban.

debateable. Yes, most of the NS community is still in high school and doesn't tweet, but I feel like twitter is slowly catching on more and more in the college age kids and up. I use twitter just for quick up to date stuff, whereas with facebook I would have to scroll through a bunch of crap that people have posted and commented on. I actually almost enjoy twitter more than facebook.

I have never understood the point of twitter. I spend like 60 hours a week minimum on computers, because my job is computers, but I have never once gone on twitter.

it's like organizing a list of sources that consistently pop up with new information and media. you can see discussions about certain trends, like the trends about what are going on in the middle east. if you want to follow discussions on that or include yourself, you use the tag #libya or something like that. it's basically like a worldwide discussion board, where you are basically restricted by word count to either posting useless shit or something interesting. it's pretty easy to filter through the bs...

I don't even use twitter that often but I find some interesting users to follow every once in a while.

Twitter is all about who you follow. Follow the right people or companies and you have access to near instant news and updates about what is going on. I was skeptical about it before my girlfriend got me into it and now I'm hooked.

I agree but I know I didn't set mine up right. I end up having to sort through a bunch of useless post to find what I am looking for and I don't fully know how to use the hash tags properly with it. If I got mine set up correctly I am sure it would be valuable
