hey so i don't really want to call anybody out, but voting i thought was closing last night, and so much shit changed over night. I just think its kinda fucked up to rig the results like that, i mean i watched my edit drop from 3rd to 7th overnite, and the shadow puppet edit drop from 6th to 16th.

I don't want to be a hipocrit cuz i know i asked my friends to vote my edit high, and even convinced a couple of my skier friends that didn't have accounts to sac up and join NS. but none of them were rating other videos low, and i just think its kinda fucked up how much the results chnaged overnite.

I guess the 1s will be gotten rid of, and maybe that'll striaghten things out, but maybe people were smart and voted 2s.... anyway, that just my rant

why would they vote your edit down. i watched all of the edits and yours was sooooooo sick. i thought it was the best out of all of them. good luck and hopefully they sort that shit out
 
dude, dont be a sore loser.. look at the other videos and tell me that yours is better. Your park skiing isnt at their level and 95% of this site is park skiers.... figure it out.
 
its gotta suck, i feel you, but still it may have been night for you but there people all over the world on NS who could have voted when you were asleep and it was still day for them? dunno if that works but could be the reason...
 
any votes after midnight will not count, the current results are NOT CORRECT so do not worry guys
 
Fuck off, 95% of this site by no means just skis park. Just because youre some stupid fuck who would hike rails in 12 inches of pow does not mean that most of us wouldnt like to enjoy some sweet BC in our NS movie. Maybe your ideal version of the movie would just be 120000 pretzels, but that sounds like a pretty dull video to me~

he was just saying that with only 3 or 4 more votes than the night before, he moved down a lot of places, so he pretty much got voted a 1 quite a few times

now you look at that movie and tell me its a 1.
 
yeah, what can ya do. people will hate, maybe next vid contest should be posted anonymously without names or somthing idk i dont think there's any way to avoid it, but some of the vid's were 10's (most werent) and some were pretty bad. i mean people try to justify giving higher scores because they tried and where they're going with their idea's which is good but it;s a contest. best vid win's that's how it should be scored. you shouldn;t hate if it's not the type to skiing you like but how well it was. if you dont like BC you can score them a 1 and you're friend that can do a 180 a 10. that's just fawked. but hey, what can you do other than what is being done?
 
no doubt, he didn't even say his video was better or theirs wasn't sick, he just didn't think it was cool to get voted one a bunch of times
cause people are havin their friends rate them 10 and everyone else 1
 
your misunderstanding me, i'm not being a sore loser, and i will freely admit that my park isn't at the level of the other videos, because i'm not at all a park skier. ( although david vanatta had a solid seggy in the shadow puppet edit)

I'm just saying to ns that its a little juvinille to rate videos one because you want your friends to win.... im not just talking about my video, and just saying in general that ns needs to grow up a little bit and not try to cheat the system
 
It has been suggested several times for a future revision to the rating system that a threshhold of 2 points be created when voting .

In other words if the average is 7.0 your vote can't be any lower than a 5 and any higher than a 9. I think this would really help big sways when someone logs in with a dozen aliases and maliciously knocks a video up or down.
