only reason i have it is for work networking purposes and i havent even used it. oh well.
 
follow people who post interesting things and you get a whole collection of short posts about things you want to look at. it's also great for networking and quick sharing of ideas/events.
 
I just got one and for the most part it is fun. I am still figuring out all the lingo that goes along with it and what the fuck this # does when you post it. Its great for news updates and the occasional laughs.

going out when your favorite team is playing? twitter on phone tells you every single thing thats happening right after it happen. I dont miss any Jays games anymore, its wicked.

same goes for news from all kinds of people/groups/ANYTHING you may be interested in.

youre not super smart to point out that nobody cares what you just bought or what you made for lunch, its pretty obvious. twitters the # personally relevant news source i can think of

So I can say stuff like "what are some good ways to use those awkward boners you get on the beach? I personally use them to hold my towel while I get a girls number." and not have people you know think you're creepy. Other than that, I have no idea.
 
it's not for you to post unless you have actual substance to share. otherwise it's just a shortened version of the facebook status...that is stupid. maybe if you read the thread you would see why, it's a question that gets asked and answered in every single thread about twitter on here.
 
type it into the search tag and you see every twitter with that hashtag in it.

i.e. if you post a joke and say #funnyshit you type in #funnyshit or just funnyshit into the search bar and you'll find your post as well as everyone else's with that in it.
