but to ns members only I will give up my vx1000, 4 info lithium batteries, lowe customizable minitrekker backpack, custom eye piece, info lithium charger & lens pen

The bag costs over $100, each battery $50 or more... everything is functional on the vx except the VTR (playback mode), which isn't a problem because you shouldnt be watching footy on the vx anyways.The heads were replaced (for $600) in the last 3 years.

Picture quality there isn't much of a difference, except the 2100 pwns the 1000 in night shooting. But day shooting, there isn't much difference. Also, they are about 10 years apart. They still make VX2100's and parts for them, but they don't make parts for the VX1000, nor are they sold retail anymore. So if you buy a VX1000, you better hope to God nothing happens to it or you might be fucked. VX1000's are known to have the ribbon cable break easily. If your lucky you can find one on eBay.
