NS skater gets wrecked by a truck

worst part is, that driver will probably get charged.

i have to pass 4 different schools on my way to work up a pretty fuckin busy street in downtown toronto.

the amount of kids that just dart out without looking is mindblasting.

its like they WANT to get hit.
 
that kids a fucking moron. from what I gather it looked like the driver was paying attention/had good reflexes. hopefully the video helps the driver in any legal action.
 
looked like it. also the comments on the youtube page indicate that he was fine 2 days later. not sure what sort of injuries he had.
 
yes.

cant believe nobody had the sense to check/place somebody out in the street. that car was close enough that it couldn't have been hard to see him coming down the road
 
that's fucking crazy... but to be honest the people saying the kids a retard its part of the drivers responsibility to check for dangers on the side of the road that could possibly come out into traffic... That's what I had to do when I got my licence...
 
a skater is different than a little kid bouncing a ball on the side of the road. would doubt that anyone could stop in time for this

Are you kidding me? There is no way the driver could of expected that to happen. He came out of no where, in fact if the driver did see that coming he would actually have been doing the wrong thing because he wasn't paying attention to the rode and looking way off to the side at a random stairwell...
 
When I used to snowboard and go hit urban with friends, we'd always have one guy standing by the road so shit like this didn't happen. 100% the skater's fault.

Vibes to everyone here I mean probably wasn't the best rail to hit but the damage is done now. Vibes to the truck driver, probably fucked him up inside a little bit, and there is no way he could have prevented that.
 
Skater deserved that. Glad the driver of the truck knew what to do and made sure no one touched him. He handled that situation very well.

his first hit there was someone standing on the road, but i guess they didnt do it for every hit, crazy
 
his friends are just as much at fault as he is for this, its common sense to at least wait until you know the road is clear if youre gonna dart out onto it, and with all the people there it boggles my mind that nobody thought to look and see if a big red truck happened to be barreling down the road at them.
