Ns Silicone bracelets

why not be a nice guy and just have all profits go to NS. it would be a win win situation. the people of NS get their bracelets and the owners of NS get cash to kepp the site going and growing.
 
Why cant you ask the owner of NS if its a good idea? I mean, If it was a cool bracelet I'd wear it and it would only advertise and keep the sight growing like some of you said. Or if not a bracelet, something cheap because the NS shirts are pretty expensive....good idea though
 
a) the word newschoolers is just a word, and cant be copywrighted. the .com or NS can be though

b) im sure doug and the boys wouldnt mind that much

c) if they do, just ask them for permission, and worst come to worst, cut them in on the profit

d) id buy any color. white or neons preferably

 
They're kinda played I guess unless you are actually wearing them for a purpose. Like I wear a lance armstrong band all the time, I got it about half a year before anyone started wearing them and haven't taken it off since. Armstrong has been my role model for years, my Grandpa also has cancer so I think it changes the meaning.

But ya, I hate when people just wear them to wear them and are just doing it to jump on the bandwagon.
 
put newschoolas you just cant use the name. or else you will have bishop at your door drunk as fuck lookin for a fight.
 
say ur selling them custom made and have each person that wants one say they want to have newschoolers put on it

I know it seems weird that we don't let people make things with our name on them and sell them, and there's a very simple reason why.

You see when a product with our name on it is being sold for profit (whether ours or yours) that product is obviously associated with our name. Now if the random person from the forums who was doing this was a great guy and a good business person, it could all be fine. But, what if all of a sudden they take 100 orders and then never send the product out? Or what if you get it and the product is absolute shit?

Then what if the seller just disappears... who will they come to? They will immediately contact people at NS and be like "Hey, I got fucked" and we would be like "Yeah but that wasn't us" and then either the person in question or an angry parent would say "Aren't you responsible for things with your name on it?"

They would be right. Even if people understood that it wasn't us who made it, a shoddy product or a large scale screw over tarnishes the name of Newschoolers.com.

We do take every single request of excited entrepreneurs out there into consideration, and if you're going to do something like this you HAVE to wait until it can be an official NS thing. I mean if you and your buddies are getting together and making some shit just for you, then whatever thats all good. But if you're selling it to the community then its important that it happens through us!

I know that we currently have a super shoddy offering of products to buy, but that will all change really soon. Personally I'm not a big fan of the silicone bracelets, I think those are kind of a done trend... but what are your guys thoughts?

lets turn this thread into a "what kind of stuff would I like to be able to buy from NS" thread!

I would like to see:

-more t-shirt designs

-hat (what kind will be cool next year?)

-lanyard - these things are handy and timeless

-Rolling papers?

Post up some ideas, or vote for ones. We will start offering products, just keep being patient with us. We're only 4 people!

 
haha i have one that is a rainbow and says "i love jesus" now im not religous at all but i no that in the bible or w/e it says jesus didnt like gays or w/e so i thought i was kinda funny
 
i love this site, but maybe you can make the bracelts (after asking them) give them a portion of the money and they can go drink all night ON YOU!!!!!!
 
i dont get what must of you dont get. DOUG OWNS NS. doug owns NS, the name, the tag.... sure you can tag a shirt, or do whatever.... until you sell that, its illegal.
