NS Season Kick-Off Party - Jay Peak, Vermont Dec 12-13

Daw fuck I've always wanted to go to an NS party. Cant make it. Work on Sat, possibly skiing the Wa on Sunday.

I'm gassing up my big American SUV, buying a bottle of whiskey, and driving to Jay with a purpose.

i'm going to gas up my asian import, throw that bitch on the highway, and get tactical on the shenanigans. game ONNNN

Jack and I will be raging up 93 to 91 from good ol' Plymouth NH if anyone wants to race. I'll just tell jack not to drive like a pussy and we'll get FA$T and FURIOU$.

No but sneeriously, Im stoked

I'm driving from North Conway! I'm going a different route but I'm down! I'm not gonna be on 93 till Littleton. When are you leaving?

Jon, you're sleeping in the basement if I see you in the park. That's like going to a strip club for good conversation.

Why I gotta sleep in the basement. Don't hate on park! Your the one that runs NHFreeride! DOn't worry I will be in the POW too!

because you're driving to jay to ski park...not only that, but after a snowstorm...seriously, i dont think you should even get to sleep inside, or get into the party ha

cant wait for this, going to be a shitty drive up tho, snowing from thurs night thru fri during the day...

Seconded on the drive safe and smart. Please don't be one of those Massholes with shitty all season tires who get stuck getting up the hills on the highway and block access for the rest of us. The whole area can get some pretty sketch driving in any type of storm, be prepared

Ditto that, had this happen to me on the way out of Mt Snow a couple weeks ago, 20+ cars ended up having to stop on a hill, and at least half of them didn't make it up.

so there's supposed to be a serious amount of snow on friday... looks like saturday is going to be amazing.

That front page video of Doug skiing Jay just made me so happy.
Can't wait to be there tomorrow with good friends!

I really wish i could be there, ill be selling shoes is williston all weekend long. If anybody is going through burlington I know pearl st. beverage sells lift tickets for $37....have fun im gonna where my ugly sweater out in Burlington just for you guys

NS is putting some lime light on jay, front page edit/parties, jay will never be the same hill again. for those that skied jay like 4-5 years ago, do you recall skiing fresh pow all day? i have a feeling those days are long gone.

sorry, but those days were shattered the day Jay was bought and announced they were building hotels, high speed lifts, etc etc...but dont worry my friend, the majority of people go when its shitty, rainy, freezing cold, trck the weather, and you will always manage a good few pow days every 2 weeks or so

could try it, probably got to do it in advance though. mabye we'll see what we can get togheter saturday morning.

Hah glad you like it!

Remember everyone... we've got free tickets to give away so get those sweaters rocking and those tall T's a stretchin'!

sleighbells ringing and tall t's jingling mmmmm hmmmmn......

i heard that to the tune of a christmas song...... I'm also rocking like 2 hours of sleep so hahahahahaha woooo!

Is anyone driving up from the Waitsfield area (or somewhere relatively close by) on Saturday morning? If so can I grab a ride?

Better yet, is anyone diving up from NYC after 2:30 (when my midterm ends) jk, really the first one, but if the second applies to you then great, haha.

If you're headin up at one of those times then hit me up wit a PM.

I love jay peak but wont be up there till the 20th... back again for the early spring....

wish i could find a way up there by tomarrow but dont see that happening..

have fun up there...

~peace~

jay's website says a foot of snow fell overnight with more coming throughout the day.

down here in albany is all ice, so if you're coming from the south deff leave a lot of extra time. power is out all over albany and trees/powerlines are coming the roads. i've heard that north of here and in vermont mostly got snow, and a lot of it, so again, plan accordingly. take main roads if you can too.

Oh, we should organize a time for everyone to meet!

Plus we'll need to give away the "tallest tall-T" lift ticket prize...

So if you're broke and can't afford a ticket, just cut like 3 shirts together so that you've got one that drags 3' behind you.

Bam, free lift ticket!
