WHEN: Friday Dec 12th and Saturday Dec 13th
WHERE:
Friday: Grampa Grunts Lodge - Party starts at 7pm
Saturday: NS Takes over Jay Peak (we're looking into a group rate)

WHAT: Bring an ugly xmas sweater to the party!

We will be holding a Season Kick-off Party in Montgomery, Vermont (10 miles from Jay). The party will be taking place in a huge condo we're renting at Grampa Grunts Lodge.
Saturday morning, for those still alive, we will ride and take over Jay Peak VT to CLAIM it our home mountain for the day!
Doug Bishop (Mr.Bishop), Jeff Schmuck (schmuck), Paul Stanisci (nopoles), Jason Mousseau (mousseau), Mods and myself will all be present. Come out and show your support for NS and freeskiing. We will be giving out obscene amounts of stickers and shwag, and we'll probably have some sweet contests for you guys to win stuff. This should be a night to remember!
Accommodations: The condo we are renting is 250$ a night and can sleep about 15 people, Grampa Grunts has super cheap rooms, usually about 30$ per person. However, you guys can rent giant condos that sleep 10+ people, which will make it pretty cheap per person. Ask to stay in "The Happenin", we have already booked the back condo where the party is taking place. Please don't tell him we're having a party though.
Also, don't come to the party expecting to trash the place, this guy arguably runs the best hostel on the east coast and I have a good relationship with him.

Mike Rogge will be running a CLINIC on Big Buck Hunter at the Snowshoe Lodge and Pub across the street Friday and maybe even Saturday night.
You best be stretching those tall tees super hard.

Shit, I have midterms. I don't think I can make it, I might be able to make it on the 13th, but def not the 12th
 
I'm there this weekend for some recon. Everyone who can make it down should! The snowshoe isn't gonna know what hit em!
 
Any idea how much a lift ticket is gonna be?

Im a broke ass college kid and i may just get my -20 degree down sleeping bag and my camping stove and do it on the cheap in my car in the driveway if thats cool.

Does anyone care if i brush my teeth in their sink?
 
I just checked on Jays website. They have a deal that if you have a season pass to any other mountain, they will sell you a ticket for $45 for an adult ticket.
 
I'm trying to get people to go but no one can. If I go I would like to room with some fellow NS'ers. Anyone thought about getting 15 people together for a condo closeby to the party condo?
 
you can get a room for like 30$, plus worst case, you can always meet up with people at the party
