NS Sailors

I used to sail 420's and Lasers, but haven't raced in a few years. Once I move out of CO I'll be back near some water and sailing again

i have my own sunfish, and i got a Force
didnt get out sailing this much this season though, kinda dissapointed

Im up in the UP of Michigan at Michigan Tech. We sail 420's and lasers up here. I just joined the sailing team but i guess they sail right till the water freezes pretty much. also just raced a farr 395 on lake superior it was dope

I like to sail 420's and lasers. i also coach sailing during the summer time so i can use the yatch club's boats since i dont have my owne which is nice.

29ers, 470s, lasers.

ive sailed a 49er once before, had a really bad pitchpole though :(

I like racing lasers, deffiantly the funiest.

i sailed when i was like 8, decided i didnt like it. i still go out ocasionally on family friend's boats because my parents used to be serious sailors. if I wasnt into skiing i'd be the biggest dissapointment child lol.

we have a Laser 2 and a Bombardier Invitation (fuck yeah canada). i prefer the invitation. We also have a sunfish but I have never really liked them.

Laser almost every day in the summer. Some 420 ,and ofc Optimist, in the past and then this:

Skippi 650 Racing, such a fun little boat

And this is also awesome, old English cutter, little over 100' long. Got this big thing up to 14 knots one time.

Yeah, 420s or lasers? My 420 sail number is 6341 and my laser is 197271. I'll probably do laser radials at buzzards and nationals and north Americans in 420s, but nationals are in illionois which is pretty far away

probably j80s at bbr and then im still not completely sure, ill be at either nationals or north americans. Are you sailing youths end of august? and my sail number is 6151

used to race 420's now I just do the wednsday night beer races on my catalina capri 22' and the local summer regatta's.

used to sail 420's when I was younger and have been known to sail a 47 foot sail boat through a small hurricane in the caribbean when i was in fourth grade. I miss sailing, haven't done it in a long time.

Such an awesome boat. my dad just finished building a full racing set of sails for one and built an asyemtrical spin. for another

I've only sailed an actual sail boat once and I have no idea what kind it was, but when I was in Iceland in 2006, the world's largest sailboat was docked there ../claim

technically speaking the j120 does even need any foredeck work with furling jib and a sprit......

haha .....from the express 37 bowman

false. do you think the spinnaker packs itself down the hatch? and do you think the jib falls neatly without snagging everytime? i think not. Of course its easier compared to a boat with a symmetrical spin, but its stil necesary

I'm too tall for 420s. I sailed them for a while until I gat suck of getting hit by the boom all the time. Plus living in CO kinda sucks for sailing. But I'll take skiing any day. Still though I race J22s and J24s on Lake Dillon in the summer. I know I just posted this pic a minute ago, but it's so sick I gotta post it again.
