Any punks on NS? Cult perhaps? Been feeling nostalgic recently. Post em if you got em.

Don't know how they thought that company would take off, the shirt designs were even worse than the concept.

There were one or two punk cults, they're pretty much dead now.

I talked to one of the skipunx dudes maybe a month ago, they are still around. I know they promoted the Mt Baldy Revolver premiere and one at I think a college in Claremont. The skipunx account still posts in California regionals sometimes.
And to the guy thats seeing Leftover Crack, thats awesome dude. Saw them in Compton 4 or 5 years ago and it was one of the best shows I ever went to. Stza sounds exactly the same live as he does on the cd which blew my mind. He passed out on stage right after they started the first song, then sat up and spit in his hands and started playing with it. Ezra had to drag him up and be like dude we are playing a show right now. Stza was yelling that he didn't want to play and shit. Then he played with his spit for a couple more minutes, stood up, and fucking tore the roof down. By the end of the show you had to stand in the doorway of the bathroom and piss on the floor because it was covered in shit.
Its cool that they are still playing, I thought they broke up and Stza started doing that starfuckers thing.

i dont listen to much but my brother listens too alot this. kinda surprised to see some core punks on this site. good to see some diversity

Thanks to punkers we got stores and 7-11s to sell 4,8% or so grade beer in the 80s. Thank you, it was quite a movement back then.

Oh and if somebody can find a video or link to that song. Used to have it back in the day, lost the cd.

That song is one of the ones I really still remember from time to time. The shit when I was younger, riding my bike everyday, building the trails up and riding al day, watching dirt vids like nachos back in the day. THat shit used to get me pumped up all the time

^^ i love rancid and lars fredricksen as well, but those are like most mainstream songs they have. if you havent already i recommend checking out their self-tittle album from 2000. my favorite by far, and also some lars lars fredricksen and the bastards.

It's cool to see that this many people on NS actually like punk/hardcore/ska. Y'all should check out my radio show, Circle Pit Your Life Away. You can tune in online at www.kuteradio.com, or if your ever in SLC it 1620 AM, although our station's broadcast strength is a joke. Right now it's every Sunday from 4-6 MST, although after break it's gonna switch to every Wednesday from 7-9 MST so it doesn't interfere with shredding so much. I guess I should probably contribute to the thread a bit now.

some punks are also great people:

Greg Graffin- lead singer for bad religion and Professor of evolutionary sciences at UCLA

The lead singer for the offspring also teaches at college

I remember stumbling on a page with a long list of them

I might be seeing Andrew Jackson Jihad in a couple weeks. Love me from anarcho folk

Defiance, Ohio

so pumped you posted that

retarded amount of epic small house shows from them in the "Ohiovania" area...miss going to those

I saw them in some dude's basement in LA, the night before a Leftover Crack show, and Stza showed up. It was pretty awesome. I was pretty sure it was Stza, but I had never seen him before other than pictures and stuff so I wasn't sure. But then the next day at the Leftover Crack show he was wearing a Defiance, OH patch on his pants so I was right lol.
