does any one know if there is going to be a movie made with the people of newschoolers in it open to the publec and the people of newschoolers... i think it would be totally rad if we could get everyone on NS to send in all of their short clips and make a complete full length ski video

And yes i also made one of these in media arts there just wasnt very many veiws

if people took it seriously enough that could be really really cool... theres a lot of talent... but it would take ages to make and would be charity work on the part of whoever made it... plus it wont happen.

not a bad idea...but the level of skiing is very diverse + people don't ahve good cameras (some parts would suck) + there is way tooo many of us here, the video would be like a day long...

I still wouldn't give up on the idea...maybe not all the kids, but it would be nice to have a movie with people other than the homeboys from the local mountain.

bangor adobe has an editing program on their site...you can download it for free and have it for like a month... but if any one can get a good quality camera it would be awsome if we could get many people to be in it from differant countrys showing differant atmoshperes of skiing it could turn out really nice

to cut down on time, it could feature 4 or 5 minute segments from different regions. That could be flexible too depending on the amount of people in a certain region or resort. Plus some people no matter the skill level or camera quality ought to have a few good shots ... that's really all you need. I really liked the segment in Heavy Hitting's Parental Advisory (from whistler of 2000 or 2001) that had a bunch of good skiers, but just a few short clips of each.

you'd have to mail the clips on a disc or tape or something. over the internet the quality would suck. thatd be a bitch to sort through hundreds of CDs.
