Anyone fly, wanting to fly, in the process of learning how to fly, or anything to do wth being a pilot thats not bullshit, join me! I'm doing my private right now, havent flown for 5 months because of skiing. Share your stories! Maybe even join the Pilot Cult!

ive taken the controls for about 10 minutes and turned left in a cesna

that count?

ive been flyin for 2 years. its the shit. prob goin to go to college then become a pilot for a postal company or something. it wil be sweet. thinkin about flyin later this week.

My uncle has a plane, so I usually do it when I see him. Hopefully this summer again, It's super fun.

Jea Ns pilots unite. I currently have about 48 hours now and my solo cross country coming up !! I can't wait.

Cool, how much is it costing you? I was training to be an AME before. Worked alot on Piper Navajos, Piper Chyannes, Piper aztec ( if your going to get your multiengine) best plane to do it on. So im guessing your just getting your VFR right now, do you plan on getting your IFR later on? Ohh i would like an invite btw.

i couldnt handle flying a plane theres so much shit that can result in your death.

i jsut dont want that beef

yea man im doing my private right now got around 30 hours, soon as i get private going to college and getting my commercial.

i'm not yet a pilot, any chance i could get an invite though?

my bro is going to school to be a commercial pilot, he's working on his ifr now i think

I can land a 737 1/3 times... I went to the united simulators at old Stapleton once. Those simulators are pretty sick. They are like 20 feet of the ground and move all around and shit. Its just like flying a real plane, not that I would know I guess. But ya if the pilots die put me at the controls and you got a 33% chance.

chyea NS pilots. Cult anyone?

i took ground school in fifth grade. aced the tests and got like ten hours in but haven't flown since.

Wow im surprised about the amount of people on Newschoolers that have flown, i havent but still alot of people have. I am interested but it probably will not happen.

same here. ive been looking at coast guard, navy, army, and air force and they all require a degree in something i dont want (which involves a shit load of math and science) and then you have to hope you get accepted. so i dont think itll ever happen for me

my uncle is the president of flight administrations at us airways for every pilot in the US...thats pretty cool.

his son is a pilot, and the other is going to be an aircraft mechanic....

and i am planning on going into air traffic controller...

oh and ive flown a plane, taken off and landed. my cousin took me up it was sweet, and i wasnt that bad. it was only a little 2 seater plane but it was fun.

um my dad flies airplanes... and my friends, holsons cousin jason herman flies them too, holson would agree with me that jason is one cool guy

Jason is ill, he flies the planes for sure. My grampa has a plane and I flew it once for probably 10 minutes while we were in the air, it was pretty neat.

I have my private pilots liscence, float rating, and tailwheel endorsment in less than 100hrs. Should have my commercial rating after my first year in college.

Got my privates and tailwheel in Anchorage, and floatrating in Moose Pass. Flown lotsa places around the state. Right now Im in Bristol Bay. Nothing else in the world it like it. The best stuff is always off airport though.

thats cool. I took ground school in like fifth grade but obviously i was too young to get the liscense. I never followed through with any of it and its killin me. I fly all around the ABC islands on floats with my dads friend but I really gotta get back to the ground and finish the work.
